Feb 8, 2009I would like to hide a div when input type text is empty. And as soon as you start typing in the input type text field, a div below would appear.

Show Hidden Field That Is Not Empty After Page Reload
Dec 14, 2009I have a form and in the form is a checkbox use as a switch to hide and unhide a two textbox. When the other textbox is hide, the other is unhide such as the code below. When the user click the submit button on the first time and there is an error, it reloads and the id="fieldset.-in_honor" hide because it is set to hide initially but not empty. My problem is, I want to show the fieldset whichever is not empty after submit button is click and there is an error so user will not enter any more information to the other field. Is that possible?

Show A Larger Input Field With Mouseover?
Nov 9, 2009I'm showing in a field the name of the file the user has chosen. I would like to show the whole name as the title when passing the mouse over the field, in case the name is too long. I swear this was working, but it's not anymore (I'm testing with FF). I don't know how it was working, maybe I used a different combination of quotes or semicolons or I don't know. I can't make it work again. When you pass de mouse over the field it is showing the code instead of the innerHTML referenced:

This script made it possible to show Google suggestion while typing in an input field. The Google suggestions are retrieved over here: [URL] The problem is that all of the sudden it stopped working! For apparently no reason because Google is still 'providing' the suggestions online. So I have two questions: Why is it stopped working? Did Google restrict the suggestions to third parties?

The way I picture it working is this - there is an input field that asks for a password. If the user types in the password correctly, the "submit" div tag will change from "none" to "block". , which will display the submit button. I just am not familiar with JS enough to know if that's possible.

This is nothing special. just a basic empty field validator. it's probably not as efficient as it could be because it assigns the function to the various elements. It also only supports text fields. I was thinking of allowing a 3rd argument on Validate_form.add to accept something like Validate_form.stock.email/number/etc (functions). ah well..

Generates Empty Div - Arrows To Show Up On Mouseover ?
Jun 30, 2010I'm in an early stage of redesigning a website and have come across a very annoying problem.
The following JS snippet is necessary to show/hide an arrow to navigate across the page:

Unfortunately it also generates an empty div <div></div> before every <a href. It's clearly visible using Firebug. Without that particular piece of code the page is working perfectly fine too, but I want the arrows to show up on mouseover.
Please find the beta page on [url] and check the code (look for <!-- script inserts <div> before a href -->). A textbox with 2 links is at the very end of the gallery.

Aug 26, 2010why datepicker is sending the current date when the input field is empty? this field is not required and can be left empty and is optional if a user wants to enter a date. i thought if the field was empty then no value should be sent.
