I am trying to work with button images, essentially a buttonbar, for the navigation of my site. So far I am not finding a solution to my problem.
The html:
I'm looking for a way to reset all of them when any one of the buttons are clicked fade its hover image to on. I'm coming fromaction scriptand it doesn't appear there are any similarities in how I would handle this compared to it.
I'm using the Cycle Plugin for a slideshow with a pager-nav .The AnchorBuilder gets the imagesource from "slide.src" - this is the same source as for the big image. Since I'm using rather big PNG's (500kb each) this double up the total pagesize. Is there a way to scale down these thumbs?I'm using Drupals Imagecache - so I do have access to scaled thumbs. But I dont know how the get Cycle to use them (printing a php array inside a javascript?).My script looks like this:

I've a navigation menu that has some sub-menus and I want to show them only after a click on the parent link. But every click on the sub-menu collapse the menu again.

When I click Products and than Apples it hides the level 2 UL. But it should go to #Apples instead. I can not change the HTML since it comes out of a CMS. So I have to deal with that structure. How can I prevent the level 2 UL collapses when I click on Apples or Bananas?
I'm building a gallery page, that's setup like this:
- carousel based horizontal image thumbnail navigation.
- main div that loads, on thumbnail click, a high res version of each thumbnail image that exists within the carousel nav.

can I use JS to preload images used later on the nav? So when a user uses it, it doesn't have to download the image, just take it from the cache?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to use MathML or maybe javascript graphics and essentially create a real-time math preview. So I want to have a text box where you insert your source code, and I want the preview box to update automatically. For example, say I want the preview box to refresh every time the user enters a space character. Is there a way to get only the new source code entered to render in the preview box without having to re-render the entire preview every time? For example, if a user types 2x^3, I want the math equivalent to show up in the preview window. If a user then types in " + 2x" I want just the " + 2x" part to be drawn right next to the already-drawn "2x^3".
Is this possible? Or is the only way to re-render the entire preview every time the user types in a new term? I would like to only change what the user has edited. If a user edits the middle of the math, then I have no choice and have to re-render everything after what the user has just edited, but when the user is editing the math at the very end, can I not just tag it on to the end and render just that little piece?

I use thickbox to show the larger images which works create.. and I use jquery for ajax requests that also works great. now I've got a div with all the products.but if I refresh this div to hold a table with icons it all works .. except for thickbox..somehow the thickbox images will not work anymore.. I've check the ajax return and it holds all the class info thickbox needs.

But this navigation panel has an icon/button which upon clicking closes or pushes the entire navigation to the extreme left beyond the visibility and the entire page contents widens and adjusts accordingly.
If I need to get back the navigation, I have to click on the icon again to bring it back to its previous place and teh page content adjusts accordingly. The overall idea of having this navigation is to have more space for the content when the navigation is not required.
This is some thing like the Interface of the application of flash/dreamweaver/visualstudio etc.
I have come across with this type of navigation somewhere sometimes back but can't really recall the name of the site.
The following code adjusts the opacity of an image which were dynamically loaded. It works on all browsers except for IE6. Is there a workaround?

I have a button class within the html called mygallery_pause_resume and i need to split it into two classes using Javascript (_mypause, _myresume) where I can assign different backgrounds to the buttons.I have an array that activates in an onclick event so that the buttons labels change to play/pause.
