View 4 Repliesrecommend a powerful WYSIWYG (commercial/open source) editor which has a image upload capability.I have been looking for it since morning but could not able to find it.I found CKeditor+CKFinder , but CKFinder is not available in django/python language. I tried to port to django but encountered several problems.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm using the editor CKEditor [URL] for my forum that I developed. When I create a new topic in my forum is so good, now when I see the issue that the images you upload do not see and I look at Funt code looks like this:
<img alt="" src="http://tecnolatino.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/comprar-una-c%C3%A1mara-digital.jpg" style="width: 547px; height: 320px;" />
I've added file upload support to the form plugin and I could use some help testing it out.If this feature interests you then go ahead and grab the beta plugin at:URL...File upload support is baked right into the plugin and there are no external dependencies.The plugin will automatically detect file input elements and use an iframe to submit the form if there are files to be uploaded.No extra coding or metadata is needed to take advantage of this new feature.In addition, even though an iframe is used instead of the XHR object, callbacks and global triggers still work as expected (so any code that you have in place to display activity indicators or blocking elements will still work).However, there are some challenges when using iframes in this manner.For one, it is quite difficult to determine if the submit operation succeeded or failed.The iframe becomes the target of the submit operation and so that is where the server response is written.The form plugin does its best to determine the data type (html, xml, etc),but the status is always 'success' unless an exception is caught during the type determination.URL...
If you use this page for testing *please* be kind to my server and only upload small files! I'd really prefer that you download the plugin and integrate it into your own test environment if possible.I've done some testing on FF, IE and Opera and the results are encouraging. I don't have access to Safari so I'm sure there are issues lurking for that platform.If you're interested in the code you can find it all tucked into the end of the ajaxSubmit method in a function called "fileUpload".
How is upload image with progress bar andImage Preview before upload to database?
View 2 Replies View RelatedDon't really think this is related to jQuery but I thought I would post it here in case someone else was having a problem. I have a plug-in I made that uses an image preloader involving the jquery .load() function. Once all images are preloaded, a function is fired to initiate the plugin.bIf the image is already loaded in the cache, the script checks the .complete property of the image to see if it is true, then manually fires the callback function for the load script. Here is the code:

Has anyone seen a javascript image editor of any sort?
I can imagine one that allows you to load up an existing image - draw lines, place text, fill etc using something like XMLHttpRequest to work. It would be like a java image editor but lighter. It would then let you save the new drawing.
I've tried looking round but not found much except a business card designer which allows you to type text at predefined locations.
can we upload image from clientside using jquery.
View 1 Replies View RelatedCould some-one please tell me (in simple words ? ) why client-side image resizing is not possible by JQuery - not just changing the breadth & height of an image but actually changing the image to decrease the image file's size ?
It seems possible in java & flash . I would like something like in :[URL].. I would like to have a smaller/fixed image size to upload to server, instead of doing the resizing on the server.
I'm trying to upload an image without submitting the form. Here is what I got code...
View 3 Replies View RelatedBefore I waste time trying to achieve this, could someone possibly tell me whether it is in fact possible to upload an image using the jquery ajax function?I have seen examples on google but they are not too clear how they achieve it.
View 5 Replies View RelatedCan any one guide me how to submit form data along with the uploaded image using jquery Ajax in PHP?
I have been goggling lot but can't find a solution to this issue.
I have a page that contains thumbnails for a photo gallery. On this page is a link to upload more images. When you click the link a modal opens that contains an upload form (jquery colorbox in an iframe) which will allow you to upload one image (plus its name, caption, etc) at a time using PHP. When the form is submitted the image uploads and the page refreshes in the modal to allow for more uploads.
Since this modal is sitting on top of the existing gallery thumbnails I'd really like for the user to see the new thumbnail added to the page after it's uploaded.
I need to build a image editor application where the user can edit images.. I need to integrate this image editor in my Ruby on Rails project.. So does anyone knows any specific site where I can get the JS code of image editor which will be able to integrate into my project
View 2 Replies View RelatedHow do I check if a browser supports an image using style before
writing it with document.write?
document.write("<img id='picture1' src='a.gif' alt='blah'
style='blah'>");
NN4 and Opera 6 throw a wobbler.
Also, what way is best to reference it?
document.getElementById('picture1')
or
document.images['picture1']
I have following code, that i am sure can be done in 1 single function, which will ease extending it in future.
Basically when a link is clicked, i wante the upload form to apear....and any other upload forms to disapear.
How can i put those 3 functions in 1?
The first example works as planned and has a valid .height/width value, but the second and third example using encoding/space doesn't (0 height/width). I was under the impression that replacing spaces with %20 was supported?
1:
javascript Code:
imageFile = new Image();
imageFile.src = "/somedir/somedir/image.png";
imageFile = new Image();imageFile.src = "/somedir/somedir/image.png";
[Code]....
I haven't been able to resolve this on my own and searching for answers on the internet has been going on for along time now. I'm simply pondered as to why that encoded format doesn't work and how to use a spaced filename.
I was just wondering if it was possible to upload an image using XHR rather than a hidden iframe? If so, do all modern browsers support it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a form to allow the user upload images.
The user browse for an image in their computer and click open, th
image to be upload is preview on the img tag.
The script works fine with IE, but does not work with mozilla Netscap
bowsers.
Does anyone knows what could be the problem?
Does the ONchange function works in Netscape?
Or anyone knows a tag that can preview the image file before uploadin
it. Code:
when client uploads any image at that time before uploading the image i want to display that image to the client. so please provide me the snippet of javascript to achieve this thing.
<img id="previewField" name="previewField" width="100" height="100" /> <input type="file" id="picField" onchange="document.previewField.src=this.value;">
but i am not able to preview this image on mozilla so please provide me the solution for this or if it it possible using ajax then also please provide the solution. the altimate goal is: the local image which is suppose to be uploaded should first be previewed to the client or uploder.

Does anyone know of an easy to implement ajax upload script for php
which also has a progress bar. If possible I'd like it to be able to
remove already uploaded files and do minor manipulations.
If I have an image upload box on my page and I wanted to check the image either after selected or before the form is submitted to import it, is there a line or command I can use to return the size in pixels(width*height)...
I've seen it done and I'm assuming jscript has something to offer here but my googling has come up a bit short so I'm not too sure where to begin..
I have a script which allow users to chnage there profile image, and it allmost works perfect. The script is set up so when a user uploads a new picture it overrides the previous one, so if a user have an ID, lets say 15, the image would be called 15.jpg. The problem is that when an new upload is finished it still shows the old image, I think by cache, and thats no good. How do I refresh the image with ajax so when the script has done uploading the image is the new one?
The javascript upload.js:
Code JavaScript:
<!--
function startUpload(){
document.getElementById('f1_userimage').style.visibility = 'hidden';
document.getElementById('f1_upload_process').style.visibility = 'visible';
