I have a problem with the trigger event. I'm using a function that opens a curtain by clicking an image. I wish to use the trigger event to automatically register a click on that image so the curtain opens automatically. I've been messing with it and have had it work successfully in Chrome but not FF.

If you see this example in a IE6 or IE7 or IE8 in compatibility mode, you will see, that the the modal box is not 100% opacity. It works great in FF, IE8, Chrome and so on.
The problem is because of a "position:relative;" in the "containerTop" div - the parent div of the dialog.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a jmodal popup which asks for name. One textbox and one button.
Name is required hence it has required field validator on it. And the button and the textbox belong to same validation group. I click "save" button, which saves the name and closes the popup. The problem is that when the name is not entered, the popup closes, therefore the popup should not close but since i have jqm.Hide() on button's OnClientClick it closes.
So what I did is I removed the jqm.Hide(), add a css class to button "CloseJQMModal' and I try to close the popup myself from server when the save button is clicked.
The code for that is:
This works, the popup closes and validators work. The only problem is, that after this i am unable to focus on any of the textboxes on the page. The cursor doesnt come in textboxes at all. I can still manipulate with dropdowns and buttons though but not textboxes! Although I can just right click and paste in any textboxes but i just cant type it myself or focus on textboxes.

1) I would like to activate the CLASS-1, CLASS-2, CODE fields only if the NAME IS Selected from the dropdown.
2) Also would like to make the CLASS-1, CLASS-2 as required fields if the NAME is selected from the dropdown.
How can I achieve this? Can I use some kind of a server event to activate / deactivate the fields on the form?
i have this jquery script on my photo galery page, it detects left and right key down on keyboard and acts uppon key down.
Is there any way to deactivate it when I click on a text area that is located below each photo? this must be a common issue I think...

I've spent the last few hours trying to make the jump from prototype to jquery. I'm trying to use jQuery's crossbrowser event handling but I can't seem to register the event. I've tried lots of combinations and permutations that I've seen on the web but nothing seems to be working so I must be missing something.

i needed a text input so the user that will register a product, will make sure to enter the cents, and not just the raw money, making it to be stored incorrectly on my database.for example, if i type "1" the output inside the text field will be automatically "0.01", so the user HAS to type the cents.

I want to add a global event handler for mousedown that will register whenever the user clicks anywhere on the page but I'm having trouble.This is what I'm trying to do:

But the event handler is never called. I can't even seem to get access to the body. Is the body tag the wrong place to be assigning the mousedown handler? I'm trying to make this code work correctly in both IE and firefox.
