I'm going to preface this by saying I know next to nothing about implementing jquery. Thus far, I've just been very lucky and able to figure out a few things on my own.
I have a simple form on my site that, upon clicking "submit" calls a PHP file.
I'd like to have a modal dialog box open when you confirm submission(like this.... [URL] but can't understand how to target the submit button to make this happen.

This is the code i am using to activate the button or disable the button. For some causes i am getting "javaScript:functionA()" in the address bar instead of calling that java script method. So my new window is not showing me the correct result.

I would like to include drop-down navigation links on my home page that connect to other pages on my website. No problem there. The problem is that some of the other pages contain a series of div elements that are hidden (display:none) until activated by javascript enabled links on the page. Clicking those links changes some of the page's content (within a div) .. almost like a "new" page. [URL]. Here's my question: Is there any way to create menu links on my home page that will open the "concert.html" page AND display the appropriate div content at the same time?
For example: on the home page, a menu link under "Concert" that opens that page and automatically displays the "Rock Symphonies" section?

We've been using ajaxSubmit to process a login form request (can be found here: [URL] Login Link in navigation). However when we attempted to upgrade from 1.3.2 to 1.4.4, we get the following error whenever we submit the form:
"jQuery(this).ajaxSubmit is not a function"
The only way we've been able to get the form to work again is to go back to vs. 1.3.2.
Has something changed in 1.4.4 that would prevent the form from working? Is "ajaxSubmit()" no longer a valid function?

I'm trying to build a confirm dialog box. If found a nice plugin [URL] but the behavior is not like a normal confirm dialog box. You have to add a callback function to react on the ok/cancel buttons. Is it possible the simulate this behavior so I can have a function like this:

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to get a dialog box to open another dialog box. Clicking on "more search options" the first time results in opening a dialog box. Clicking "search" within the dialog box results in opening up a second dialog box. But this only works the first time I click on "more search options". In other words, the second dialog box only opens up only once. To get the second dialog to open again, I have to reload the page in the browser.

My community runs a set of forums, (phpbb with the Brushed Metal template, if that is important.) and people often use large images in their posts. This ends up cutting off the majority of the image, so we thought we'd install an auto-resize script, to resize anything wider than 600 px. It works too well, it also resizes the banner at the top of the screen. A bunch of us hacked at it trying to get it to work, but none of us know anything about javascript, so it's not going so well. Either the script still resizes everything, or it does nothing at all.
Here's the earliest version I could find. It's not the original script, however...

There are two text boxes in a HTML form.The first text box takes the time when the user starts to work on a project. The second box takes the time when the user stops working on that project.Now, I would like to calculate the total time worked on that project for that user. That is (stop time - start time). What the application does so far is it loads the table and has an edit button next to each row (line 7 above), however when the "Edit" button is pressed the Html.RenderAction (line 8) pulls up edit windows for all of the items (item.ID) on the list instead of only the selected one row. This means that there are currently about 25 windows that pop up behind each other.
What I want the code to do but so far was unable to figure out is only to open the edit window for selected row.
