I just picked up JQuery yesterday and I am trying to access the text of a dynamically created text box.[code]The problem is in the btnSave.click function the message always says that the .val() is undefined even when there is text in the textbox.

i'am able create dynamically 2 text boxes ( start date & End Date). Also i am able to create dynamically (img) calendar gif pictures beside each textbox.What i am stuck on is how to popup a calendar while clicking on the img and assign the date to a dynamic texboxes.

The code below creates images based on a json feed, no problem. All images are created and the click function works perfectly, but... I can't access any of the images by their id's so I can't make thefunctionbehave as I wan't.
I first thought jQuery appended my image object as html and didn't insert it as a valid object in the dom, but as the click function is working that can't be it?
I found some other people had the same problem but they were using vanilla js, their solution was using .appendChild() but thatdoesn'twork in jQuery.

Am creating a dynamic text box along with datepicker image.. when I enter newdate into the text box, it simply goes to previous textbox and updating the textfield. How to enter the date into the newly created text box??? And also once I complete the first row data , that row should be disabled.

Im trying to access a string in a textbox which Is located within an iframe on the parent document but the iframe is linked to a source html file.I know of document.getElementById('textbox').valueBut because its within an iframe which is getting its data from another html file Im having difficulty.

I have an AJAX application using which im attempting to acces a #Text node in the NAME tag of a XML document. i then want to sort the names and place them into tables <td> tag. i can put the names in the <td> but i want them sorted alphabetically. from my understanding im suppose to be able to sort an array simply like this Array[].sort();..............this is the reason i need the text to be an array. Unless you know a simpler way to do this.

In a few words it creates a button which when it is clicked it launches the add_text script. Add text script creates a text element for a form and puts a random value for the textbox. Textbox also takes a name which is of array type name="txt[]". Also form has the post method.
When I press e.g. 4 times the add text field button 4 text boxes are added. But when I click the submit button I get a result of 1 instead of 4 when the print count($txt) is executed. Copy paste the code to see the problem.
As am new to jquery can I know how to pass a HTML code dynamically to a literal ID.text using jquery.

I have a form where a user enters a number in a text box (txtTickets). When that number is entered, I need to create an equal number of select boxes. I've found code examples which show how to dynamically add or delete options from a select box, but I have found no examples which deal with this specific scenario. The select options do not depend on user input -- that is, I do not need to populate it dynamically. I need to create them dynamically. Has anyone created something similar to this?
