I want to use two checkboxes to control the appearance of two blocks. The click method doesn't work well for this situation. I have tried to use the change method, but don't know how to detect which checkboxes are checked.

I have several elements in a repeater control like this:

However the problem with this is that when I change the dropdown box it changes the hide/show status for every item in the repeater.
What is the best way to only have it hide/show the items in the repeater where the dropdown box is located?
I'm trying to use a javascript class to assign specific event handlers to different elements. I create an object and pass it a reference to the element, and some properties for the event handler to use. When the event fires, I want the handler to reference the properties of the object. But I'm clearly doing something wrong as multiple instances all refer to the most recent object only.

I have a page I am working and I am having some trouble with: I need to show and hide areas based on a radio selection. I initally started using the show / hide feature in Jquery but the problem is the elements need to be removed but then put back if the user selects the radio buttonagain as it has form elements that have validaion on them. The validation is still trying to validate the form elements becuase they are still on the page but just not showing. This is the radio group the user makes the selection from:

I want to know if there is a way to automatically add a UI control to all fields of a certain type, for instance:
Lets say I have two form fields, with ID/Name of startDate ad endDate.
On a different page, I have say, 4 date fields, like Date1, Date2, Date3, Date 4.
Is there a way to have jQuery notice when fields have an ID that contains "date" and automatically add the datepicker to them?
I ask because I want to create a template with controls like this, where you simply name all form fields relatively standard things and jquery will automatically add the right controls.
