JQuery :: Make .change Work On Dropdownlist Before Leaving Dropdownbox?

The above function seems to work just fine when the user clicks through the form and fires the event like I would expect.
However, if the user is hitting the arrow keys to switch the selected value in the dropdownlist, the event does not fire until the user tabs away from the box, even if they've changed the value multiple times.
Is there a way to force it to fire the event for every change of the value, even if the focus hasn't moved away from the box?

I don't really know how to say this, that's why I'm going to show you some code which will hopefully point out what I mean.This is what I wrote yesterday:

This worked well, but then I wanted to make a function to be able to change the innerHTML of that div but it didn't work.

I have a dropdownlist inside of a repeater that I want to capture the change event on. The problem is the id of the dropdownlist is different for each of the dropdownlist controls that gets created. Is there a way to account for this using JQuery? I have the code working in .Net, but I want to convert it to JQuery to avoid to PostBack.

How do I automatically populate the second dropdown based on the selection made in the first one. Say if I choose a contry in the first dropdown, then I want to display a list of cities from that country in the second dropdown. Is there a way to do this with jQuery?

how I can select Two Dropdown boxes values by checking One Checkbox. I have two dropdown boxes StartTime , EndTime and a checkbox AllDay. If I check this checkbox I want StartTime�s first option and EndTime�s last option to be selected. Is this something possible or am I dreaming again?

I couldn't find anything useful on google. When you have a form with a dropdown box in Internet Explorer, does the onchange event only fire when you actually click the new value in the dropdown box?
It seems like it for me, whereas it works for firefox on a hover-basis.

I'm new to jQuery, but learning fast, and loving the new functionality!I'm using a Flash upload component that all works fine, and once it's complete (file uploaded) it calls function.I'm running the Flash upload in a modal (nyroModal - very cool!). In one of our files we with a <marquee> tag.
But to get the contents of this file, were using jquery ajax.
Does anybody know how I get make the <marquee> work from the ajax?
In Chrome its fine, but if its in Firefox, the text displays, just not in a marquee.
