I am trying to make a fade in on a css change but it does not work so well. I used this syntax:

I don't really know how to say this, that's why I'm going to show you some code which will hopefully point out what I mean.This is what I wrote yesterday:

This worked well, but then I wanted to make a function to be able to change the innerHTML of that div but it didn't work.

The above function seems to work just fine when the user clicks through the form and fires the event like I would expect.
However, if the user is hitting the arrow keys to switch the selected value in the dropdownlist, the event does not fire until the user tabs away from the box, even if they've changed the value multiple times.
Is there a way to force it to fire the event for every change of the value, even if the focus hasn't moved away from the box?

The problem is that I want the images to only advance in the proper order. For example, if "Image2.jpg" is currently displayed, I want to make it so that only clicking on "Link 3" will advance it to "Image3.jpg" while the other links are still there but do nothing if you click on them.
I'm in dire need of a Script that changes one text to another text. So like say NEWSPAPERS, is Times Roman with a 18 font and Bold, I would like a Javascript that changes the text that has 'NEWSPAPER' of any font type and size to change it to "NEWSPAPERS" with a font of Present LT std with a font size of 18 and bold.

Text is below here with correct font and size. once the text is imported into Indesign CS4, this script will change the title of Newspapers to Newspapers but of the required font style, instead of manually having to change the font type and size each time the text is imported to Indesign.
This is a script I've got so far, I'm curious if I'm using the right javascript function's to perform this task.
I will be a script that will be running inside of Indesign CS3. I'm a VB and C++ programmer, and I'm having to Learn Javascript for Indesign, so I know how to program, just dont know the functions of Javascript. I'm hoping this is a fairly simple script to write. Also if anyone knows a good tutorial on how to javascript or more specifically the function commands of javascript.

What I want it to do is when they have clicked upload file(s) I want that to change to "your files are being uploaded" and make the button unclickable?
I have been making a javascript dice throwing app(? or whatever it's supposed to be called), but can't figure out how to make 2 functions for one button. I have 5 divs on a page all with the class of "cases". I want all these divs to fadein one second after the previous one loaded. To accomplish this I tried the following;

the third one fades in etc. etc. etc.Currently all the divs load at the same time.

I'm running into a problem in which I have a nav menu that allows you to click on menu items (about, links, etc) and this makes a corresponding content div fade in and the others fade out. I set all the content divs to initially display: none; which works, but the problem is that when I click on a nav item for the first time since page refresh, all the content pokes through and then fades out, rather than just the one I want fading in. The selected div stays visible, but I want to get rid of this problem!

The code I have now doesn't work right. It is supposed to start with 1.jpg showing and then fade that out and show 2.jpg in it's place.

When I leave out the fadein of the new image the first image appears and then fades out like it should but when I add the fadeout function it displays the second image and then fades it out even though it is the inner div with a class instead of the outer div with id which should display the first image.

Let say I have index.html where my label is displayed. Then I have label01.jpg to label20.jpg stored on label sub folder.
What I want is to be able to change my label one at a time from label01.jpg to label20.jpg everytime i click the label. then go back to label01.jpg after label20.jpg
For illustration purpose, see image below. I want the label to change every click until I got the label right for the video screen. I have 20 video screen in one page and I need to change the labels depending on the video.
Actually a more preferred solution is for the script to cycle through all the pictures on my label folder so that if I have new labels I only need to dump it in the folder and it will become available.
