I have a form that I am trying to loop through the elements of and come up with a total, when the form is submitted. The goal is to alert users that they have not entered a minimum or maximum number of choices before letting the form submit. I am trying to use "replace" to remove dollar signs and commas from input values by looping through the elements. I'm pretty sure I have to use an array in an array to do so but can't figure it out. Here's what I have:

I'm populating a table from my database using .Net and within this application, I am then comparing the value the user has entered to the first column of every table row in the pre-populated table.For some reason, when I loop through each row in the table and return the value in the first column...the value always stays the same when in fact i know its different by just looking at it on the screen and in the html source.I throw up an alert message for each time it loops, and it its looping the correct amount of times, just not returning a the correct value.

I'm developing a table that'll have dropdown filters above it. However my table has a slight twist in that some columns will have more than one value in them, eg imagine a column with these values:

Basically the order form works this way (see attached image to clarify) - the user clicks on one table to select the price wanted of the product and this value appears in the second right hand table automatically.
So far, so good.
