I have this case:
1) There are 2 tipes of li: li.chosen that contains a single string. This string will be replaced frequently.
2) Each li.pick when clicked must send its text to li.chosen, but first the string of li.chosen must be erased. In short words, I want this list to act as a selector.

I have a form to insert some products into a database... just a normal form. The hardest part is this. I have a javascript code on a text field that launches a page in a iFrame that is supposed to get the content of the text fild to required data.
Example: I type "3456" on the text field and when I pass to the next form field it send the link "[URL]"... the part of loading the page inside the iFrame is done, what I can't seem to achieve is the value to send. Is this possible?

I have a form with two submit buttons. One will save progress (which I do with a .post and no page reload) and the other finalizes the form (which I want to do a page refresh). I have a jquery dialog pop up for the finalize asking if the user is sure, and when they click "yes" I want to do a form.submit(), but I need to pass a value of "submit=Finalize" so my PHP script reads it properly. I can't use a hidden field, as both buttons are named Submit, but send different values, which the PHP then uses to figure out what to do with the data. So is there a way, like in the .post() function to send just one extra value for "Submit" in the submit() function, but still allow for the page to reload?

I need to send XML / XML string to a web service cross domain.I have a JavaScript function that creates the XML by selecting the fields on the page and formatting the values into the required XML document. The HTML page is running on the users local machine but need to send the XML to a public secure (SSL) web service (ASMX) that has one argument of type string.I have tried to come up with a solution and the only one that is currently working is JSONP with GET. But this results in the data being send as part of the query string and is in clear view, thus beingintercept-able.

I am using the jquery form plugin submit the form by ajax. Everything works great in all browsersexcept for Safari and Chrome. The problem in Safari and Chrome isthat the name of the button that was pressed does not get sent back.My guess is that the form plugin is getting confused by the spaninside the button and not grabbing the name from the button element.

the form do a few things prior to submitting. For some reason,
however, the perl script is being called twice (the perl script sends
out an email, and submitting the form once results in two identical
emails.)
Here are excerpts from the script that I believe to be relevant (I can
post more if this isn't enough, but it's long and I'm trying to keep
it brief.) Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I've read about
how you need to return true after calling the javascript via a button
click, but I've done this kind of thing in other places and it's
worked fine. I've also tried inserting a return statement here in the
function and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Strange. (BTW, I
changed the domain name in the URL out of courtesy to my client, just
