Aug 8, 2010I have a div with a table and 4 cells in the table. What I want to do is get the cells to 'slide' from right to left and keep rotating though the div, like an endless carousel.

Aug 9, 2011have set up a simple slide show within a table to present as redesign option on home page for a new client. The SS is working fine but the rest of the content that follows in rows beneath are not showing when the page loads. They do appear when you hit refresh. what's blocking the load. Both work on separate pages and puton the same page they still work however the submenu of the slide down menu does not. if I remove the style sheet that belongs to the gallery
Then the munu works, however (obviously) the page layout goes wrong. if i remove<h1 class="title">Alex Holland Perspective</h1> the menu works however page layout goes wrong andI loose my header

Using the code newEffect.SlideUp('test1');, the table row gets hidden but without the animation effects.While trying to research this, I saw a post in stackoverflow and someone said it's really hard to create animated effect for table rows. There's a solution there but it's for jQuery.Another solution is probably to use <div id="test1"> inside the <tr> instead but that creates XHTML error.Code for table table row:

Oct 19, 2011I'm making a form with some fields. Once the form is submitted it updates the page with a new div containing the data entered without refreshing. Im using jquery form plugin. What I'd like to achieve is the new div(.record) to .slideDown. I guess I need to somehow specify the exact div by giving it an id or number. I'm not sure and why im here.
At the moment when i submit all of the divs(.record) are hidden with .hide, then they all slide down with .slide. Best i can understand is to hide the last div then slide down. But again.. I don't know how to specify to only slide down the last div added and not the current .record divs on the page.

Slide-in/Slide-out Intro On Home Page Using Flash
Jul 10, 2007I've seen websites that had large flash ads that covered content on pages that, after they had run, resized or disappeared.
We would like to use the technology behind that (presumably JavaScript) to show and hide an intro flash on a home page. We would like to have a "close" link on the flash also.
I have searched Google and here but haven't found any good resources and many of the sites I have seen using the technology are no longer using them. I just need a little assistance on the JavaScript part of the puzzle.
We want the flash to start over the copy on the page and then roll out softly when it's done playing, revealing the content below. Code:

Slide Up/Slide Down Using Multiple Divs
Nov 9, 2009I'm trying to get a mootools plugin to work with a slide in/slide out javascript using multiple divs. Here's the page: [url] The mootools code (Noobslide) slides a main image on the right when you click thumbnails on the left, which are wrapped in a thumb mask using CSS. The first row of thumbnails works perfectly, but when it's passed on to the next div the mask isn't passed on and the effect breaks down.

Aug 24, 2010Im a starting graphic designer, 21 yrs of age and just rolling into this webdesign industry. Ive come a long way, do have some knowledge.. but when it comes to complicated things like JS I often visit knowledgeable forums like these.
I hope I can contribute into making this community richer.
Now, Ive implemented this slide out menu succesfully before, only now it seems that ive mistaken somewhere. The menu just pops out instead of sliding out like it should.

The code to clear the text boxes and selection boxes work great. The code to clear the text from the table cells that do not have a form element do not work at all. The .Client and .Project cells that I want to clear are populated by an ajax call and the .total cell is populated by a function that sums the values the text boxes.

JQuery :: Stripe Table Rows After Table Is Reloaded
Feb 3, 2011I have a site with 2 side by side tables with matching data. The left table is a drag-n-drop implementation so you can reorder the values in the database just by dragging and dropping. It works wonderfully. I want the right table to reflect the changes instantaneously. I got the right table to reload itself with the following jquery line:

I stuck that line in the "Update" function of my "Sortable" funtion. And the line that I am using to initially stripe the right table is:
$(".checks2:even").addClass("grayBack");
Now matter where I stick that line, I cannot get the table re-striped after it reloads.
