I know you can use random multi-effects, but is it possible to specifically choose the fx used for each specific slide/image?Maybe it could be done by getting the class of the 'current' slide somehow? eg.

I have a page displaying a portfolio of logos, print pubs, websites, etc. When the page originally loads, all items are included in the slideshow. I would like only logo images displaying when the user places the mouse on the logos link.

The jQuery call below works (i.e. the range of the images is limited to only those with class logos) if the menu link to "logos" gets a mouseenter event while the slideshow is showing one of the logo images (class="logos"). However, if the slideshow has progressed to one of the other sections (class="print", web, sign, etc) then the slideshow will not resume.
Below is the jQuery call when a user places their cursor on the logos menu link.

I was hoping someone could lend a hand with a problem I've been having in the office for just over a day now. I'm using Jquery cycle plugin [URL].. to slide between about 10 slides worth of information.
The beauty of Jquery cycle allows me to make a slideshow of only the Divs I have specified as "cycle" class. My problem is that I would love to be able to print each one of the "cycle" class slides using only one print function click.

For some reason, and only on IE, when the cycle action occurs there is a clicking sound, like the clicking sound when the user clicks on a page hyperlink. The sound happens before the cycle action starts and when it ends. why this is happening and how can I prevent it from making the clicking sound?

i'm doing a site that uses tabs and cycle together, cycle inside the tabs.. In Firefox (every version), opera, safari works... But when i go with IE6 into the page "Ambientes", the IE6 Crashes... and is not everytime... i am sending a link with a screenshot...

When i 'turn off' the cycle, everything works... when i 'turn off' the tabs, everything works too..
I've downloaded malsup's excellent cycle script and got that working just fine, but now I'd like to extend it to make eachimage clickable to an outside href. When I try adding an href to the image tags in the html page it sends the page wild!

I basically have the same code from the demo page of jQuery Cycle. Once I wrapped the images in a link the thumbnails broke. I have tried dropping the "slide.src" for $('#slideshow img).attr('src') but that still comes back as undefined.

My jQuery cycle slideshow was working beautifully before I tried to implement previous / next nav based on the demo at [URL]. I broke it doing something dumb. I am using images instead of text links, but that should not be an issue.

As you can see, I'm using a div tag in place of an image and setting the image as the BG of the div. Then I'm overlaying some text and links on the "slide". When I click the links however, the result is animation invocation rather than link target invocation. The div click event is takingprecedenceover the link click event. Is there a built in handler in the Cycle library to handle this?
I'm using the Cycle Plugin for a slideshow with a pager-nav .The AnchorBuilder gets the imagesource from "slide.src" - this is the same source as for the big image. Since I'm using rather big PNG's (500kb each) this double up the total pagesize. Is there a way to scale down these thumbs?I'm using Drupals Imagecache - so I do have access to scaled thumbs. I have a Cycle Plugin carousel of 20 product thumbs split into 4 slides of 5 thumb images each slide. This scrolls horizontally forwards and backwards with left/right navigation. This carousel is situated below the products being displayed. The user can navigate forwards and backward through these 4 slides, however, when they pick a product to look at the carousel always resets itself back to the first slide. How can I set it so that when an image in one of the 4 slides is clicked and we move to that product's page, that slide stays active when the page loads? It's annoying to have to scroll back through the 4 slides to find the one that had the active product on it.

I'm unsure of how to do this, or what js file I would have to edit (if any). The hover is run through jQuery 1.2.6 min but the sub-nav is run through dynamic drives' ddtabmenu.js.

How do I call those anchor links correctly.I place the javascript call on the links themselves which provided me with the functionality of pressing each one to make the gallery advance forward or backwards, but how would I make it so that as the images rotate the anchor links hightlight giving an indication of what the current image link is?

Problem: The captions do not effectively cycle. What appears is the first caption from php the_excerpt but it does not change to the next php the_excerpt text. Can I solve this problem so I get the text from php the_excerpt to correspond to each image??

When i override the ajax method with $.ajaxSetup and set the type:'post', then consecutive calls to fetch data from the server, by Ajax Tabs (url), the tab stays Loading... forever. Firebug shows that a POST request was made and it completed successfully, however, the Tab stays Loading... forever. If i set it back to type:'get', the Tabs work fine. is it a bug, restriction? if it's a restriction, then why? workarounds?
