Ajax :: Already Loaded Files Not Present In Loaded Div?
Jul 5, 2010I'm trying to use cluetip jquery plugin inside a message_container div which will be updated once in a while through ajax. The plugin works just fine in any other div, but it seems that in message_container div the already loaded external javascripts are not present ie the plugin doesn't work. Do you have any ideas what would be a proper solution for this issue?

Knowing When Graphics Have Loaded

Presently I advise the user to wait for graphics to load before
clicking on adjustments. Ideally, I would prefer a closed-loop approach
where code would recognize completion of loading and automatically
enable the adjustments.
I Can't Get All Images Pre-loaded In Frames
Nov 28, 2006The pages which have these images are frames.... and even with my best attempts to preload them all still most do not. Some use more than one image and the flicker is obvious.
Below is how I am loading them, and it doesn't matter if I use URL referenced images or locally, (i.e. ./image1.gif)

Is there a reliable way to pre-load all images in frames, or *should* this work and it's something else?
How Can I Verify If A Page Is Loaded?
Jul 20, 2005I have created two pages, the first page is stored in a free public web
server, and the second one is stored in a personal computer. This computer
is not allways on, so, sometimes, the page could not load.
I want to create a "Zero" page that checks if the second page is accesible
(and if it is, then redirect). And if the page is not accesible then
redirect to the public server.

May 18, 2010I am using a jquery gallery slideshow on my homepage and I am having an issue where the images loaded before the dom is loaded causing the images to display in an ugly stack.
I combated this a bit by setting a height on the div and setting the overflow to hidden. however you can still see the unstyled stack of images within the small div for a couple of seconds before the page is loaded.

Test To See If A DIV Background Is Loaded?

Data Set 4 -- etc..The thing is, I load the script and the div appears, BUT the text overlay appears first THEN the image pops up for the first Data Set. I can't have that. I need them both to appear at once.Is there a way to determine that a div background image is loaded?-- I have access to the prototype js library.

Feb 15, 2011We have to login to a http page so that I can surf the net. But, that login page also requires me to keep that page open which is very irritating. The page have javascript that checks if the page is loaded every 180 seconds, it its not loaded, I am logged out.
I want to simulate a browser using a programming language like python or using curl or anything so that I am not forced to keep the webpage open.
How can I do that? I have uploaded the source code of the webpages of login_page, javascript and ajax scripts used.
I am not actually sure as to how it is being accomplished so I dont know how to simulate it. note the sendLiveRequest function in javascipt script.

because the textbox hasn't loaded it yet..it seems. How do I get around

Then when I try to in a function say...

Many times the image height will not be defined.
I recently changed the past so it uses AJAX to change the <img src...
stuff to return new data for that inner HTML block..
Still the image will not have properties.
Now, this is a problem in IE/FF, but not in opera.
Any ideas on how to make sure the image is loaded so its height/width
properties are available... either by swapping the image.src or by
using ajax to swap out the div innerHTML??

I have found only two ways of loading new JavaScript after the web page
is loaded.
1. Create a new script element (where head is the id of the head tag):

2. eval() of a string sent from the server via XmlHttpRequest.

Now I want to execute the reset function automatically on a timeschedule (every 24 hours, from crontab). How do I accomplish this? I guess I need something like the reverse of WGET - something like a WPUT or WSUBMIT, that talks to the embedded web server and submits a form with
do_reboot = "yes". However, I have never heard of any such tool.
How can I trigger the functionality in an automated way, without browsing the page and clicking the button manually?
