I am trying to change the script below from adding the values to subtracting without much luck.
Code:
<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
function autocalc(oText) {
if (isNaN(oText.value)) //filter input {
alert('Numbers only!');
oText.value = '';
} var field, val, oForm = oText.form, netincome = a = 0;
for (a; a < arguments.length; ++a) //loop through text elements {
field = arguments[a];
val = parseFloat(field.value); //get value
if (!isNaN(val)) //number? {
netincome += val; //accumulate
}}
oForm.netincome.value = netincome; //out
}
</script>
Both “TOTAL” and “rd_PROPERTY_VALUE” allow you to enter any number (e.g. 10000, 2500, 12345, 100.10, etc.). So whenever I enter numbers in both of them, the 3rd read-only textbox will automatically divide TOTAL by rd_PROPERTY_VALUE then times it by 100 and show the calculated value in the “LTV” field.
For instance it should mathematically appear like this: (TOTAL / rd_PROPERTY_VALUE) * 100 = LTV
how to It calculates amount column value by multiplying quantity to amount.i.e. amount=qty*rate and gross total is sum of all the array elements in amount.Here I want to add two more columns viz vat% and vat amount.Simply it will be amount*vat% / 100.Can anyone please tell me how I can do that?Other thing is, is it possible to separate the 5% vat and 12.5% vat values and display the total of them in respective column?
I have a form with 9 text fields and a text area. What I want to do is replace the text in the text area depending on how many fields contain text. For example my text boxes are named 1 to 9, if the user enters text in the first five boxes I want the text area to auto fill with 'you have selected boxes 1 to 5' if the user selects all nine it will say 'you have selected 1 to 9', therefore, the user must complete the text boxes in order. I have it working with an onchange event but i have a button on the form to also auto fill the text boxes and it does not work if this is clicked
I currently have multiple combos ofimage with a description text below it.I want to lay them out inrowsand inline. So if the width of page is not enough the next one should startbeginning of next row. Each image and text is currently house by a div with float left and a set width, but if you look at the attached screenshot (1.jpg), The Oracle - eBusiness Suite gets stuck because of the differentsheight due to text size and if I set a height too, then some of the text gets covered up (2.jpg). I was thinking if I can maybe use J Query to automatically adjust height to divs on the same rowto fit the biggest text size on that row?Evenjust changing all divs to that heightbe would be ok if it'seasier.
I built my company's website and the content portion of the site uses text with styles with relative values and the navigational part of the site uses text with styles with absolute values. The purpose of this was so that the end user could increase the size of the text on the webpage and only the content portion of the page would scale or resize but the navigation would not. This works as expected on a pc but the entire page scales on a MAC. Does MAC not support text with styles the same as pc so that the only scalable text is that with relative values (ie: small, x-small, medium, large, etc)? Absolute values conist of point sized text. How to process textbox values/ call textbox values in JS through a Java program.My text box values are dates. I have to process these dates. Like in online banking we select day to know our transactions. After submitting we get results. remember my files are in my directory only. No need of database. My files are look like 20100929, 20100930, 20101001
For epoch_classes.js, epoch_styles.css u can download coding from this link : http:[url].....
In my coding, ys, ms, ds represents year starting, month starting, starting day...ye, me, de represents end...start,end gives file names in the format of yyyymmdd.now i want to process files from 20100101 to 20100930
means from date is 2010/01/01 and to date is 2010/09/30
if i press submit button the files from 20100101 to 20100930 are processes
here ys=2010 ms=01 ds =01 and ye=2010 me=09 de= 30
For this how do i call these textbox values (from date text box and todate) to another program (java)
is there a code I can get that will automatically input UK into a textbox after someone has typed init.
For example someone types in their postcode NW2 2NH and after clicking out of the box or clicking submit, UK is added to the end (with a space inbetween the postcode and UK).
Heres my most current code. I have it where, onClick on an image it calls this. and it works, but the hp keeps restarting, like they all minus from 100, instead of the number that prieviously minused from 100. For xp: 100-9=91, is the first, the second, 100-72=28 instead of 91-72. How do i fix
var myhp; function takehits() { var dmg= new Array() dmg[0]=9; dmg[1]=11; dmg[2]=15; dmg[3]=21; dmg[4]=29;
myhp=100; var rndtake=Math.floor(Math.random()*5);
document.getElementById('health').innerHTML=myhp-dmg[rndtake]; } I want to have it where, you have an aray, and u have a number value that you want the number value, to be subtracted by one of the numbers in the array. And u lets say the array has 5 choices. Code:
I have a registration form for classes. Each class has a fee. I have a drop down box whereby the user chooses his class. There is a textbox with the associated fee. I would like to auto populate the fee textbox depending on what class the user chooses. In the email, the value of the drop down box has to be the name of the class and the value of the fee text box has to be the fee. Can someone please help me in accomplishing this?
<ul id="nav"> <li><a href="#1">his is a long piece of text which will need to be truncated.</a></li> <li><a href="#2">This is a long piece of text which will need to be truncated.</a>
I have 4 text boxes that are supposed to load 4 seperate values of data from one field in one table from a database. The field is called interface_cropsettings (from the interface table) and these values have been concatenated and comma seperated in this field.
Code:
Once the form is filled out and saved, the data is inserted into the database and the values from these 4 text boxes are concatenated, comma seperated and inserted into that one field correctly.
(Example)
If the 4 text boxes have the following values:
In the database field they become:
However, if the form is closed and then re-opened, each text box displays the entire database field rather then each value seperated in the corresponding text box.
(Example)
All 4 text boxes display this:
I already know why the data appears like this in the form, my problem is that I'm not sure how to write the javascript to seperate the values into the correct corresponding fields, assuming javascript is what I should be using!
Also, this is kind of irrelevant but just in case you're wondering, this form is part of a cold fusion application!
I have the following function that will subtract n number of days from todays date. The problem is that it always returns the the wrong calculate date. The month is wrong.
see if you can spot my mistake:
Code:
function returnDate(ndays){ var dayOfTheWeek = now.getDay(); now.setTime(now.getTime() - nDays * 24 * 60 * 60 * 1000); alert(now); // returns current date alet(now.getYear() + "/"+now.getMonth()+"/"+now.getDate()) // returns new calculated date }
Is is possible to have a text box auto populate with the current date and time? Ultimately it is my objective to have the date and time populated into a field in my database on submit...
I have an HTC (Thanks to Beetle) that auto fills a field as a user key strokes letters into a text box. Except for one thing everything works great. The one thing is if a use types somethin in that is found, accepts it (tabs out of the field) the goes back to the first letter and trys to change the case (upper to lower or vise versa) it gets an error "invalid argument". I cannot seem to figure out why it would error. Below I have all of the code HTML and HTC should be easy Code:
I have an image gallery where every image has an index number ("data-index"). How do I access that index number when the image is "current" and then add +1 when it's "next" or subtract -1 when it's "previous"? Below is part of my code.
What Ive done is use local storage to set a value in my web app.
Then my next task was to write said value on my page (This took me hours but finally got it done).
My next task is using Setinterval(or what ever the correct way to solve my problem) to subtract a number (lets use "1" for this example) Every 5 seconds from the local storage value.So basically After I click the button. Value is set and displayed. After another button is click. Every 5 seconds the localstorage is subtraced by 1. I think the code im looking for is similar to this
I have a calculator and using JQuery Calculator plug-in which Tally's up groups of field values using key up. I have a summary page which presents the user with over all expenditure. What I need to do is subtract the expenditure from income, populate a total field onclick of an <li>.
Does anyone know how to go about getting a function a bit like fckeditor / ckeditor where when you type a full URL into the 'link to' box it automatically removes the 'http://' part on the fly (i.e. as soon as another character after the initial 'http://' is typed), just leaving the user with www.etc.... in the input?
I am trying to build something similar, and am a bit lost going through the fckeditor code!
Im so close that i can taste it..The first set of code works find but only for the first input tag. I would like to create an array of all of the text inputs on my page and have each one resize to the text within them. The second set up code is where im attempting this but for some reason i can't get the code to execute.
Code: // Working code window.onload = function(){ var inputs = document.getElementsByTagName("input")[0]; if (inputs.type == "text"){
I am implementing auto re-order drop down values in asp.net. My requirement is something: I have five drop down and each has populated using 1 to 5 values. when I changevalue from dropdown, other drop down values(numberordering)should change automatically.
I have been fighting a nutrition calculator and I finally have all the addition working. the problem is the subtract link is not working. (it works as a link but doesn't trigger my jquery). var jM = jQuery.noConflict(); jM(document).ready(function(){ // Calculator behavior //Addition Time! jM(".add").click(function() { //Create the Variables to Hold the Values for Nutrition Information..... jM('.subtract').click(function() { alert('test'); }); });
