Get All Links With A Specific Attribute And Click Them?

I have the following html code snippet

if you click the link, it expands some other html stuff, so this is a javascript link. there are up to 100 of these links on the page and i am trying to expand all with a one click bookmarklet.
i tried already to fetch the links with a custom js function named "getElementsByAttribute" but that didn't went out well and i didn't get any results, no matter what parameters i used with the function.
so i'm searching for another method for fetching all the methioned links or some correct solution using the named function. and i think i will might have problems with clicking/activating them all. ps. that is the first time i'm actively using javascript.

I have an image map with various areas on it. A user can click on the various areas and something happens. That said, I sometimes need to disable the ability to click on some areas. For instance areas whose id attribute contains 0 0. I have the code to split the id and grab whether the values are 0 or 1 and the alert pops up when one has 0 0 in the id but it's still clickable. I thought .unbind would do the trick, but it isn't. The alert is simply for testing.

I can tell if the object has a attribute by

...
but what if I want to check if a attribute name in variable?
for example,
var attrname="maxvalue";
is there a call like myobject.item(attrname) or something so I can test if the attribute maxvalue exists?

I am currently attempting to write a function that retrieves the name attribute from a list of items with a specific class name. To illustrate:

I would like create a function called setVisibility to iterate through all the list items where class=food and return the value of the name, so that I can compare that to the radio box, and set visibility accordingly.

I'm trying to parse my anchor tags, by getting all the href attribute available in the page, and then i will loop through this attribute values and then parse it. if each href value is equal to "mypage.com", the link will open to the same window, but if not it will open to a new window, more like the concept of determining internal and external links in a page.

There's a feature I want to implement, but don't really know how to code. The intention is to use jQuery to convert words with a certain class attribute into Wikipedia links.
An example to make things clearer:
PLAIN TEXT: There is a <span class="wiki">penguin</span> there.
EXPECTED RESULT: There is a <a href [url] there.
Hence the code would have to grab the string of words inside the tag and place them inside a href with the first part of the link already attached to it. Doesn't seem too complicated, but I wasn't able to do it.
I have been trying to use the code below (created by Patrick Haney and improved by enraged) as a basis, but no deal. This code subistitutes words for code, but it searches for specific words.
If anybody knows a script like that, modify the code below,

I am developing an advent competition for my website and would like to know if there is any way of setting a specific click number to go to the desired link.
My basic idea is to have a web page with a basic advent calendar, users can click on the number for the specific day and it opens a new window with a message. If possible I would like to set a prize for one specific click, so the code can pick up on the specific number of clicks for that day from individual IP's. Eg. Day 1 I will set the click number to be 1 and the first person to click will go the winning URL link, Day 2 I will set it to be the 2nd click, etc.

I'm working on a large page with lots of AJAX and .load() requests. However I have a lot of .click attributes that are applied when the page is loaded and I have to reapply them every time AJAX reloads those elements. Is there an easy way of reapplying the .click attributes once an AJAX request is complete?

What is wrong with this code it is supposed to start with a white rectangle and then on mouseover display the menu. The animation is working but when the menu is displayed, you cant use any of the inputs or click any of the links.

I noticed that in the GoDaddy Account UI that whenever you try and control click it simply opens the link in the same window (only seems to apply to the main navigation menu). I am trying to use a script like that on my site but was not able to locate it in their source code.

I have an expandable menu (not an accordion), that needs to toggle div elements below it. If I put the click event on the h3 of the menu, it works fine but as soon as I put it on the link, it doesn't work.

I have 3 links that are clickable... And what I want to do, is when 1 anchor tag is open and the user clicks on a different link, it closes the previous link and opens the clicked one. i have a horizontal menu.. with three tabs for eg... I'm trying to add a very simple gallery where the photo is at the top and thumbnails are underneath. All I want to happen is that the photo changes when you click on one of the thumbnails. I've been trying to search for this but the galleries all seem to have stuff I don't want.I tried the following and it does change the image but it also opens up the thumbnail.

Im trying to prevent the user from clicking any other links on my page when
the user have selected/clicked a href once.
Sometimes it takes a while before the next page loads so some user will try
clicking other links or the same link.
I can prevent this when i use buttons by calling onclick and in a javascript
getElementsByTagName("input") and then check the type to be type of "button"
or "submit" which i then disable. It works.
This also works for href html tags by calling onclick and in a javascript
remove all href, BUT it also stops everything, even the request that is
about to happen.
If i use disable getElementsByTagName("a") on href like with buttons it does
not get unclickable just get a grey color but you can click on it.
Any workaround to this? This is a seriuos web app so I want the solution
where i disable ALL links on my page so it is not possible to click on any
after the first time.
All the links is NOT in a form only links using <a href="gosomeplace"> click
this link</a> .
