Formatting A Number As Currency?
Oct 7, 2010... or at least adding the commas? I need to format this number as currency. It is within the "flot" code, which is a charting framwork. I dont know anything about javascript at all so bear with me.Here is part of the code, the piece in red calls for the number. This is what I need displayed with commas, so its easy to read. I have found a few examples on the web but I have no idea how to apply them to this code.

Oct 22, 2010I'm one of the main developers from [URL](which is a gaming website), One of our main games is Free rider 2, Which we have converted to run via a database so people don't have to manually send around track codes so other people can evaluate their tracks. I am trying to build a track previewer in html5/javascript which will eventually replace our current one written in flash (which lags terribly on large tracks)
I am stuck on 1 thing though, With the larger tracks there are up to thousands of lines that are drawn using lineTo() moveTo() etc. And when i move using the arrow keys, It requires the javascript to reload the track, and parse every single line again, Causing the screen to turn white whilst it does so.
Is there a way i can use a similar method to the way it has been done in the flash version, where it is in a movieclip, which then instead of moving each line, it moves the movieclip instead.

I want the text box to be between 0 and 100, so if text box contains a number which is above 100, it will automatically change the number to the maximum number which is 100.

Feb 28, 2009I'm about to build a custom CMS using PHP, but I was hoping to add text formatting (bold, italic and maybe inline links) to a textarea in a secure admin section.
I was wondering whether it's possible to use Javascript to allow the user to highlight some text and click a button which will cause the script to write the appropriate HTML tags into the textarea.
By the way, I'm new to Javascript so be gentle.
