Basically I want my boxes to do what the ones on this site do : [URL] under the menu there are 5 boxes when you roll over them it appears like a div box with a different image slides up, and when you move off it, it slides down again. I've tried playing about with adobe behaviors but can't seem to achieve that affect. How do I get that affect in dreamweaver?
I'm tweaking this html form here's the code:[code]Everything works fine but how can I have it so when you click on the trigger (the button.png), the image of only that div slides down. The way it is now, when you click on the trigger, both the images in both divs slide down.
Something like starting animation to a page with about 10 jpgs. When the page start is starting slideshow fadein animation between about 10 large pics, and when the last one appears it stays as a background to content and buttons must appear when the last picture is loaded, too with fade in animation. Is sounds not so difficult, but for me become a hard task.
I've created a jQuery canvas slideshow to apply image an filter while running the slideshow. Everything seems to be working fine, but when I apply the filter to the image, the slideshow doesn't load other slides and keeps loading the same slide. To have a look at the problem follow the link: [URL].
I have this script here. Hope i can paste the code. Please click on the login tab on the right side. The issue is, the tab slides down as well as grows. Please help. It should only slide down, not grow.
On my website i have a sliding box, that houses an update from an ajax function. the idea is the box slides down the page as you scroll down. Now on some coputers the box stops so far off the bottom of the page, and on others it just keeps going off of the bottom of the page untill it is just the background and no website. Here is a link: [URL]
below is the javascript, what i am trying to get advice on is if there is a way that i can stop the box at the bottom of the page before it goes on to the white area. i have tried adjusting the css but nothing seemed to work and i am not an expert with javascript and hoped somebody my able to point me in the right direction.
I'm trying to show multiple slides at once using jQuery Cycle. In most others forums I've seen people get directed to this demo: [URL]
I am to achieve what's there, visually, but I want each slide to move individually; so in the example provided only one slide would move to the left at a time rather than all three.
I know you can use random multi-effects, but is it possible to specifically choose the fx used for each specific slide/image?Maybe it could be done by getting the class of the 'current' slide somehow? eg.
this is what i like to do. a menu which moves out of the bottom, when the mouse is over the menubar. the whole div-tag(menu) should slide 200px up. when the mouse is moving out of the menu area, it should slide don to starting position.
I have a set up that uses slideDown on a division that is housing a table, and it's height in no explicitly set. In Firefox, slideDown() will slide too far, then jump back to where it should be. In Chrome, this behavior does not happen. I do not want to set a static height, as the contents are dynamically set.
Is there a reason for this issue, and can it be fixed?
I trying to create a navigation similar to: [URL] I can do the drop down and the transparency, but I don't know how to make the navigation slide into place. I've done some research, but I'm kind of stuck.
I've created this sliding panel where I click the Sidebar button and it slides out or in. But I would like to make it run more smoothly. I tried storing references to the elements within the MoveSidebar() as this.variables, so that they wouldn't be re-defined each time, but then FF spits out that 'this.sidebar.style' is undefined?!
How can I make it run more smoothly, or get FF to recognise 'this.sidebar.style' (once I reinstate all the this.references)? Here's the whole page and the button is also attached for ease of testing.
Im creating a website on Dreamweaver CS5, but im having a problem which im hoping someone here can guide me though. I can create a div box which slides up and down, by using the behaviours tag in dreamweaver, however, I want it to go left and right.
Theres an example of what i want on this site, on the left theres a div box which slides left and right and changed from show to hide : [url] i want a slide box exactly like the one on that site.
I have a page displaying a portfolio of logos, print pubs, websites, etc. When the page originally loads, all items are included in the slideshow. I would like only logo images displaying when the user places the mouse on the logos link.
Example here: [URL]
The jQuery call below works (i.e. the range of the images is limited to only those with class logos) if the menu link to "logos" gets a mouseenter event while the slideshow is showing one of the logo images (class="logos"). However, if the slideshow has progressed to one of the other sections (class="print", web, sign, etc) then the slideshow will not resume.
Below is the jQuery call when a user places their cursor on the logos menu link.
$("a.logos").mouseenter( function () { $('.slideshow').cycle('stop').cycle({ slideExpr: 'img.logos' }); $('.slideshow').cycle('resume');
I was hoping someone could lend a hand with a problem I've been having in the office for just over a day now. I'm using Jquery cycle plugin [URL].. to slide between about 10 slides worth of information.
The beauty of Jquery cycle allows me to make a slideshow of only the Divs I have specified as "cycle" class. My problem is that I would love to be able to print each one of the "cycle" class slides using only one print function click.
I've got this lovely little animation that slides some div fields to the right a short distance. Everything works except the setTimeout (located in the SlideIn function). It simply 'jumps' without taking any time at all. I've tried a bunch of stuff:
changed the amount of time from 100 to 10000 changed it from var t = setTimeout("SlideIn()", 1000) SlideIn with/without the brackets, with/without the quotation marks.
I've been working on a Javascript slideshow and have it working except for one problem that when the "next" or "previous" button is clicked for the first time, it skips the following slide. As a bit of a background, my client wants the slideshow to load a random slide when the window is opened, and also play the slideshow in a random order. However, when the "next" or "previous" button is clicked, it is meant to go to the correct sequential slide. For example, if it randomly loaded on slide 5 it should go to slide 6 if "next" is clicked and slide 4 if "previous" is clicked.
If nothing is clicked it will just go to another random slide. Once a button is clicked the client wants the slideshow to stop. I have all of this working, except when the "next" or "previous" buttons are first clicked, one slide is skipped. After clicking the buttons for a second time, it works fine. For example, if it starts on 5 and the "next" button is clicked it goes to 7 instead of 6. However, if it is clicked again, it works fine. The same is true for the "previous" button, altough it does not go to the incorrect slide but takes two clicks to go to the previous, correct slide. You can see what I'm talking about here: [URL]
My code is below. <script> <!-- var SlideShowSpeed = 6000; var CrossFadeDuration = 20; var Picture = new Array(); var Description= new Array(); var Header= new Array(); .....
I've found many examples of creating slideshows using javascript all over the internet and these forums. However, I haven't found any that show how to create a slideshow and give each slide a different time interval between switching to the next one.
I'm changing my website over from a Flash based one to something that can be read on all devices. In doing so I've looked for ways to add a little motion to the site. I'm working with a friend who has been doing most of the site but here and there I like to get my hands dirty and try some things on my own. Unfortunately he doesn't know Javascript.
I wanted to have an animation window in the bottom corner of the page. Look at [url] to see what I came up with. I took a slider plugin for Wordpress and basically created a bunch of slides and entered them in to switch every .5s so that I could change how quickly they changed images by making some of them repeat the same slide 4 times for 2s, 2 times for 1s, etc. Though it's not pretty, it works. On Firefox everything looks great although it'd be nice to have fade in and out on each slide. On an iPad or IE it actually shows the flash between slides even when they're the same image. Quite frankly, it's ugly. Does anybody have any ideas?
I'm trying to get this to work in a Wordpress site on a window with dimensions of 450X230.
