I have 2 textfields and I need to change a link href based on whatever is in those textfields.
The link has to be in this format:
The reason for this is I need to launch fancybox and as far as im aware this is the best way to call it.
So what im hoping is when I add type something in textfield1 this will be reflected in the url. And same for textfield2. I know this can be done easily if I submit the page but I dont want that.
I have two textfields. They use each other to determine values inclusive and exclusive of VAT (the VAT rate being 14% over here).
So, if I type in a number (float) into the top textfield it must take that number, divide it by 1.14 and show it in the bottom textfield.
Reciprocally, if I type a number (float again) into the bottom field, it must take that number, MULTIPLY it by 1.14 and show the value in the top field.
I have a form which contains FOUR text fields (e.g. TEXTFIELD1, TEXTFIELD2, TEXTFIELD3 & TEXTFIELD4). Each text field holds a HEX,DEC color value. ABOVE this form I have a table with TWO ROWS (ROW1 and ROW2). ROW1 should correspond with TEXTFIELD1, so that when the VALUE in TEXTFEILD1 is changed the background color of ROW1 will change to match the HEX,DEC VALUE entered in TEXTFIELD1. The same would happen with TEXTFIELD2 and ROW2. TEXTFIELD3 should be used to change the color of the TEXT inside ROW1 and TEXTFIELD4 should change the color of the TEXT in ROW2. I also wanted to know if it would be possible to achieve this without clicking any button. If doing this without clicking a button is overly complicated, i havinga button is not a problem.[code]
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've created a registration form with sponsorship options hooked to checkboxes. My original form used ASP to keep values in hidden fields to use for totaling everything at checkout time.
Now I'd like to use PHP and Ajax to place the value into the text field related for each option checked.
I'm able to do that making an Ajax call. My problem that I need help with is this: If the visitor decides to uncheck a sponsorship option, the value placed in the associated field remains on the form. How do I replace that value with a null or empty string if they decide to uncheck their original choice?
I've tried JavaScript to no avail so far, both in the client side and server side code. I'm very new at this and I need help. Will jQuery work without having to change a bunch of code?

I have a php function that list all of the countries from my database as a select option, then based on what the user selects for their country im using jquery to make an ajax call and get all of the states/regions for that country. This part works fine. I'm running into an issues, as when a user login's in to edit their profile, how would I make the select change based on what is in the databse.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm using the jmapping plugin and it's all working great - when you click on a location link in the side bar the map pans to the location. However what I also want to happen when I click the location link is to load more information about the location onto the page.The idea is to load the div from infodivs.aspx which has an id that matches the href of the link that was clicked. I can make the whole page load without issue but I can't get my head around the syntax for identifying the href of the clicked link and then inserting that into the load statement as a div id.I've tried this.href but if that's actually the right approach, I haven't phrased it right so farHere's the code:

button. The src's are stored in an array and I just use

However I want the button to change the link as well to the image that
is displayed but i cannot get it to work. How do I do this. Could

I am in a problems here trying to generate link by two dropdown boxes. So, I wanted it to be like when user selects some option from dropdown one the href attribute changes, index.php?staticvar=something&dynvar1=something, that is something I have already managed to do:

This works perfectly for me, but now I need to modify the href with another variable, so it would be needed to be like:

The problem is that I don't know how to make it the way that user can change their selections, for example if user first selects (from dropdown) dynvar1 to be "test" and dynvar2 to be "test3", but then changes hes mind and decides to re-select dynvar2 to be "test4". It would be needed to be like only the dynvar2 part of the href changes with proper value (not changing the dynvar1 or staticvar).
I managed to make it changeable but it was like this:
index.php?staticvar=something&dynvar1=something&dynvar2=123&dynvar2=123
So, it didn't update the dynvar2 part, but instead just added another dynvar2 variable.
I need to change the location of the parent window and after
that scroll a little bit (because of "position:fixed" css buttons,
which obscure the title).

There is a problem is with timing, T think I need to
serialize those two instructions.
However, the window.opener.document.onload does not seem to

It works to change the style, but when I click on the next menu item, the previous one is not reverted back to how it was previously, but the formatting is stripped away leaving the link purple with no background image. How do I get it to revert to the original class which is set?
