2 Dynamic Select Boxes - Enter A 3rd ID But Dident Get It To Work?

the unobtrusive dynamic select boxes are working great.I just wonder if its possible make this script into 2 dynamic select boxes.Like make this script work with 2 dynamic selex boxed, I did try to enter a 3rd ID but dident get it to work.

I have the below JS code to change up a select box based on what is selected in another select box. IE9 broke this somehow. It still works in other browsers as well as IE8 and IE7.
When you select something in select box A, it properly populates select box B. However when you go back and change select box A again the script stops working completely.

I'm trying to customize a script I found. It's about two select boxes, one for continent selection and one for country selection. When user selects a continent from the first select box, the second select box is filled with the list of the proper countries that belong to this continent.You can see that code of the script here:URl...In my page, the continent select box is loaded with a continent-value already selected (the selection depends on a database value) and I want to have the second countries select box, also loaded with the proper countries.I cannot make this happen, unless I change the continent's selection and trigger the onchange event. Can I someway keep the onchange event and also add the ability to have a continent and it's list of countries already loaded?

Question: How hard is the following to do in javascript and does anyone have a good example of this in use (aka how do you do it? )
4 drop down boxes all on one page. I have 4 items in the list of the first drop down box.
Red
Blue
Green
Orange
When I select one, I want the choice to be taken out of the list for the second drop down box. So if I select Blue in Drop Down #1, Drop Down #2 now has the option of
Red
Green
Orange
If I select Red from the list the Drop Down #3 now has
Green
Orange
Then if i select Orange, the last drop down has only one value and that is Green.

I have four html form check boxes.The user is allow to choose one or three of the check boxes, the last check box has a value of None.
Example: What's your favorite color.1. Red 2.Blue 3. Green 4. Gray. 5. None.The user can select more then one color.So I'm wondering how can I make the other check boxes deselect when the user click None.So if the user select None, then the other boxes cannot be checked. know you can do this with radio buttons but I would like the user to select more then one option.

I searched here and some other places on the net but cant find anything that suits my needs. I have a SELECT box with 3 values Code:

OnChange, I want to invoke a function that auto populates the rest of the SELECT fields in the form. The select boxes will vary in quantity as the page is dynamic, but the values are always the same (like the code above).
Does this make sense?

Currently I have this web database app that I wrote in which I have a page with 3 tables. When I want to enter data into the table I currently select the table name from a drop down list and then have a javascript window open containing a form. The form is processed using php and oracle. The parent window which is the page containing the 3 tables then gets reloaded and, behold you can see a row contaiing the data underneath the choosen table. Have a picture in your mind of my setup?
Ok, what I would like is to try and eliminate the popup window. On each of the table headers I would like to have a button that when clicked, adds a row of input cells, say 6 for example . They should be able to have as many rows as they want. I would also like to add a submit button and a remove row button. And that is it.
From there I can handle the input of the multiple rows with php arrays and array splice to get the indexing I want. That is no problem. I have just never done anything dynamic and have very little javascript experience.

A while back, I an working on dynamic form creation. I wanted a user to be able to enter into a text field how many designs he or she would like, then, based on that number, be provided with a pair of text boxes that asked 1) name of design 2) quantity of that particular design. i am inserting values using AJAX.for single record its working fine. but i want to use five text boxes for the same function and for each text box i am calling same function.but now value are not passing properly..whetever passing first time only that value is going into database twice or how many times i have entered the values .so i want my function should work dynamically.with each add button should take value for that text box only.

I'm a complete beginner to JS and have been playing around with a few test projects but I am stuck with one particular part.It simply creates a new text box if you press the Add Text Box button, and removes the text box if you press the Remove Text Box button.What I want to do now is add a usable value to each text box (e.g. the first text box will have the value "tb1", the second "tb2" and so on - so that I can post the data to use it further on.

I have a form setup so that when you enter something in a text field and click a button it checks to see if the value entered in the text field is the "correct" letter and if its right it changes the CSS property of a div container to be shown which then has a link to a the next question. So I don't really have a submit button because my form isn't setup to work with one.only problem is when you enter a letter and click enter it acts as a submit and the submit does nothing, which is what it's suppose to do.So what I'm asking is how can I get that button to respond to an enter instead of the default submit taking over the enter key?

I am trying to make a textbox enter input by pressing the enter key, not just clicking a submit button. For some reason or another it is not working correctly for me. I found this snipet of code that works for me but I was wondering if someone can explain it to me. I get the basic of what it is doing, I just want to understand it better.

In my application,there are several autocomplte field is available.When I type "pank" and then it list out the several matching in the autocomplete field and select one and then hit the enter then it submitted the entire form, which will cause the error message. Because there are several more mandatory field are there, which i need to fill up.I was trying to restrict in this way, but i believe this is the wrong way.

I have 3 select boxes! one is hotel one is destination and one is
country...
if someone clicks selects the country then the destination select box shows
the destinations in that country and further if he chooses destination all
the hotels in in that destination are shown in hotel select
box....(everything is from mysql database)

I am using alot of Select boxes on one of my PHP/XHTML pages and i need to ensure the user has selected at least one option from the box.I have little experience with Javascript, but I tried this;

I wanted to try creating a basic expression first. I want someone to enter a string that is 2 - 20 characters long and only has letters. This is what I use so far, and it doesn't work, nothing happens at all when I run it.

java and i am having trouble getting radio buttons , check boxes and pull down lists to work in my form whenever i put them in there they just come up as undefined. And if i try to put any if statements in the hyper links stop working as the program cannot run. I have 3 select boxes (2 visible and 1 hidden ). I move elements from one sb to the other via this function [code]I need to synchronize the hidden select box with one of the visible select boxes. When I move elements to the visible select box they should be also copied to the hidden select box and vice versa, when moving elements from the visible select box, also move them form the hidden select box.
