&nbsp;var P=Math.pow(10,Digits);
&nbsp;var R=Math.round(Value*P)/P;
&nbsp;var G=true;
&nbsp;while(G) {
&nbsp;&nbsp;R=String(R);
&nbsp;&nbsp;var L=R.length;
&nbsp;&nbsp;var I=R.indexOf('.');
&nbsp;&nbsp;if (I == -1) {
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;R=R+'.'
&nbsp;&nbsp;} else {
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;var D=L-I-1;
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;if (D < Digits) {
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;R=R+&#390;'

## Modifying Round Function To Leave Two Numbers After Decimal Point?

May 9, 2010

This sci calculator listed in [URL] has Round function which rounds the result to a nearest integer. I wonder if it possible to easy modify it so that it would leave two numbers after decimal point when it perform rounding? The calculator's script has these codes related to Round:
<INPUT style="WIDTH: 74px; HEIGHT: 31px" onclick="Round()" type=button size=24 value=Round>
And
function Round()
{form1.display.value=Math.round(form1.display.value);}
I tried {form1.display.value=Math.round(form1.display.value,2);}, but it did no do it.

tag, and to create a border with round corners.

Is it possible using either CSS or JavaScript? I'd like to create a menu bar with a gradient in the background, and I want the top corners to be a little round with a 5px radius.

## Round Up 2 Decimal Places

Nov 17, 2011

I am trying to use the following javascript [URL] to create something similar to the example on [URL] for a school project but I wondered if someone could advise me how I can round numbers to 2 decimal places in the field box as I have to convert the calculated value by an exchange rate, e.g.:

where x=100 and y=50
calculate="(x+y)/1.55"

returns a value of 96.77419355. I would like to round this figure up to 2 decimal places so it would read 96.77 but I cannot figure out how to do this.

## Round Variables Up To 2 Decimal Places?

Jan 11, 2010

My javascripting is getting there, I have been learning for the last week and I have produced a working script however im getting stuck with how you round a variable (stored user input) up to the nearest whole number to 2 decimals I have looked at many tutorials and I think that the math.round has to be used somewhere but I cannot work out the syntax to integrate it into my code because everywhere I have looked seems to be using document.write syntax:

## Use Variable Instead Of Number For Function Input?

Oct 29, 2009

I'm using simpleCart() javascript shopping machine for my page.The script accepts values in a specific syntax:onclick="simpleCart.add('name=Some name','price=23.4','quantity=1');"But because the price of the product is not always the same but comes up after previously made calculations, i want to parse the values in simpleCart() through another function. I have made the following one which gets the price from a textbox (resultAlmires) of a form (Almires), then converts it to american format (. instead of ,) makes it have one decimal only and finally parse it to simpleCart() with the use of a variable.However it doesn't seem to work:

var timi = document.Almires.resultAlmires.value;
timi = timi.replace(/,/,".");

[code]....

## Adding Function Number By Date?

Dec 7, 2010

I am working on an HTML project that displays a field with a number in the field by each day. What it does is start at 0 on day one. Each day it adds a 1 to the field. Day 2, the field would say 1, then day 3 would say 2, and so on. I am not sure how to approach this. This is also displayed in an HTML format. I want to to be automatic and change as the date changesI will also need a way to reset it back to zero if possible.

## ObjCount Function - JSON Key Number

Jun 2, 2009

I have the following function and JSON object as seen below and I need to be able to determine the number of entries for the day that are within June2009 (or whatever month/year is passed to the function) in the JSON object for example I have 2 for June2009 and I need to set the objCount in my function for 1 so I do not get a not defined error in my for loop. How can I get the correct # returned to use as my objCount. for example if June2009 was passed the for loop value of objCount should be 1 and if it was July the objCount should be 0 etc etc.

function getTest7(jsonData, month, year){
var tempItins = jsonData;
var monthYear = month + year;
var objCount = 0;
var objCount = need to get a valid count for example of June 2009 how many in array for June2009 which is 2 (or actually 1 since starts at 0)
for (var i = 0; i < objCount; i++){
}} .....

## Percentages - How To Round Output To Nearest 10s Place

Oct 21, 2009

I'm a bit confused as I'm just learning PHP/Java, and need to display a percentage. I successfully can display a percentage, however, the decimal like any calculate displays .00000012130 whatever sometimes. How can I round the output to the nearest 10s place?
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">
var a = "14";
var b = "25";
document.write(parseInt(a) / parseInt(b) * 100);
document.write("%");
</script>
This is the code I use, however, it needs to be modified so that it rounds to the nearest 10 instead of display a decimal.

## Find Request Round Trip Time?

Jun 1, 2011

I was wondering if there is a way to find the total round trip time of a request. Addins like firebug and chromes console show you this round trip time but i was hoping there was a way to extract it from the response itself.

I would also like to know the response time from when the server sent the request and the client received it. I do not think this is possible since the server and client have different timing systems but it would be very useful.

## Not Adding 1 To A Number Each Time A Function Is Called?

Apr 18, 2010

i've got a program that gets input from a user, and then stores it in a cookie. That bit is fine, what is a problem is that its just overwriting the data each time a new entry is made, i believed this to be something do do with it not being numbered entry's, so i added a number into the entry, but for some reason it wont add 1 to the number variable each time the function is called
