I've made a code that finds the factors of an inputted number. Here's the script code...
However, when I factor it, It will go to a blank unformatted page to list the factors. How can I list the factors on the webpage itself like a div? I tried using a <div> and innerHTML but it only lists one factor.
Is it possible to use javascript to get a list of files from the current directory where the html page that contains the javascript is being called? The reason is that I want to find all ".jpg" files in the current dir and randomly display one. Right now I am manually putting each file name in an array element, very hard to maintain.
I have a property site and would like users to be able to click a button or tick a box to enable them to save a listing & then when they have finished searching they can then click on a 'view saved properties' button and each listing, or a link to each listing will be displayed on a seperate page so they can then go back to all their saved listings.
I have a script I am trying to manipulate. I can do some basics with it but really need to work something out.
It is basically a calender script where I can select multiple days. I really need to be able to reference the id's of each day(div) selected and basically list how many have been selected.
I'm guessing this might not be enough to go on so I may need to post all of the code but this is the part that makes me able to select the days (divs):
Code: initBackendEvents:function(){// Init Events for the days of the Calendar. $('.DOP_BackendBookingCalendar_Day', Container).click(function(){ var day = $(this); if (!day.hasClass('past_day')){
i'd like to know objects properties and/or methods.
saying i do have an object "o" being part of the dom (a div or an ul...) how could i list (introspection) all the properties and methods attached to this object ?
i know it is possible in javascript but don't remeber how to ...
If you hover over the 'Shop' menu in the main navigation, all of the second sub menus appear under 'Illustration', 'Apparel', 'Lifestlye', but then jump back when you hover over each sub menu. I would just like list the 'Illustration', 'Apparel', 'Lifestlye', menus to appear when you hover over the parent 'Shop' menu but then reveal each second sub menu in turn when you hover over their respective sub menus. Can anyone help? Hope that makes sense
I am working on a form with a huge selection of checkboxes (certifications), arranged in a table (#certs). To make it easier for the user to check what certifications they have selected, I would like to add a list immediately following the #certs table that updates dynamically based on their selections.
I put a paragraph under the table with a span - ID certs_list. I was able to add to this with the following code, but if the checkbox is clicked multiple times, it keeps adding the same value over and over again. How can I simply add to the list (item 1, item 2, item 3) when a checkbox is checked and remove it if it is unchecked?
i'm a listing a member list with jquery autocomplete and i am currently trying to add a minlength of 3 but i doesn't work and i don't really know why. Here the code
I'm making a webpage and the user can choose multiple checkboxes. After they do it, I want to list them, but I want to be able to separate them with commas and know when to put the "and" between the last and second to last item. I'm not trying to get free code, but I can't come up with any ideas of how to do this without doing an incredibly cumbersome if statement.
I'm working on a site which lists a group of products and when you click on an "expand" button it loads the rest of the product details and displays the rest of the product information directly below the div that was expanded.Each product summary has a div with the id of "#moreinfo" that expands to show the product details. The link that causes the expansion is this one: ".product5 .moreinfo a".However, only the first div expands when I click any of the products. It does display the correct product info, but always after the first product.My jquery is below. How can I make it expand the correct '#moreinfo div'
$(document).ready(function() { var hash = window.location.hash.substr(1); var href = $('.product5 .moreinfo a').each(function(){
I've implemented [URL]... in to our website, and it works great. What I'm trying to do now is take the events on that calendar and have the next upcoming event display on the sidebar of the pages. I put the listing of events in its own .js file for easier reading

changing the font in a bold tag bold by pressing a button

Are there pointers in Javascript available, like for example in Turbo Pascal 7? :)
So i could use function TestFunc(PointerToFunctionA, FunctionAItself) { FunctionAItself('Hallo')); //And how to use the Pointer then? PointerToFunction('Hallo')...??? } function PassedFunction(TextToShow) { alert(TextToShow); }
I'm trying to make selected text appear / disappear depending on what the user clicks on. It works perfectly (as far as i can tell) in firefox, but in IE i get "Could not get the display property. Invalid argument". the strange thing is, it will make things disappear, but not show. I'm trying to change the display from 'none' to 'table-row' because that's the only thing that would display properly in firefox. here is the applicable [code]...

I'm developing a website utilizing Jquery Drop Shadow and thickbox and other things. I just implemented the thickbox and thought that maybe the slow response was my system (I've had photoshop, 12+ browser windows up, etc). I realize that may not be the case and I suspect jquery's drop shadow is a hog. I don't want to go through the entire code and implement a different shadow method at this point. Instead I'm wondering if anyone can verify this issue
[URL]... Click on the "Film Reel" and it may be especially slow to load. If you suspect it is my use of the Jquery Drop Shadow, can you recommend ways I could optimize it? One idea I have is to toggle it off and on when thickbox is opened and closed. However I don't know how to do that yet.
How can I make something in jQuery slideDown without pushing things under it down? To take it out of the flow so it just overlays a slidedown like a typical dropdown menu? Can slideDown be used for that?
