So, I'm working on a website that has tabs and nested tabs. So far they all work perfectly, there is just one thing I can't seem to figure out. There is a tab on the main site that is for members, so they click on it and it brings them to a login screen. Then when the user enters in the username and password, I want it to load another page with more tabs, but in the current tab. The page (with tabs) to be loaded is in a password protected part of the site.
Anyone have any code examples or tutorials on how to implement POST's on the pages that each of the jQuery's Ajaxified tabs loads? Mainly looking for examples of the tab content pages post'ing/get'ing params.
here's an example of the stand-alone page that functions normally:[URL]...(select Oct. 8th, 2009 to see example or POST in action)
but when popped into an Ajax jQuery tab, the POST doesnt work[URL]...As you can see, on the second example, when the page POST's, it's no longer running in the tab. How do i get it to just refresh/POST within the tab?
where temp.php - [URL] On temp.php I use requests for DB with param from $.ajax - data=123456. How I can protect page temp.php? For example, somebody typing [URL] and then he can get all results. I found one solution - using if($_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'] == "http:// mysite.com/content/") {....} But Am not shure that it can realy protect my page?
within this page that has been created, there is an AJAX tree folder which calls another page to be loaded into a DIV by AJAX again. Code:
[Code]...
I don't know why it doesn't work because the page has been loaded with the JS file, but as soon as the link is added afterwards it doesn't work. I take it this is because it doesn't know where to find the JS, but how can I overcome this?
I have nested tabs in jquery tabs which are pretty simple to do if we want static jquery tabsbut what if we want nested tabs that the remote page should decide what would be the tabs.or in other words i want nested tabs in a remote page (or ajaxified) For example i m calling this page(remote page) through tabs
How can I refer to inputs ina a page loaded by ajax in a div from parent and vice versa? I already tred parent.form.element and also opener.form.element with no luck..
I'm trying to use cluetip jquery plugin inside a message_container div which will be updated once in a while through ajax. The plugin works just fine in any other div, but it seems that in message_container div the already loaded external javascripts are not present ie the plugin doesn't work. Do you have any ideas what would be a proper solution for this issue?
I use tabs, loading content by ajax. When I click on a tab, on first load, any access to objects like: $("#my_input_text").val('my value') Works fine, but if a click on another tab, and click again to theprevioustab, the same code don't update the input text.I think that is because the document has 2 inputs with the same id after second refresh.
To prove this, I did, on javascript console of firebug: document.getElementById('my_input_text').id = "bad_my_input_text"; and$("#my_input_text").val('my value') works again. Exist some way, when click on a new tab, before load a content, clean all data from previous tab?
I have some ajax tabs using the jquery-ui-tabs features. Within these tabs are tables with links. There are name links I am trying to load with an ajax style thickbox modal window.Then linked within tabs, the thickbox will not initialize.When a static page with no tabs, the same code fires off the thickbox perfectly fine.
When i override the ajax method with $.ajaxSetup and set the type:'post', then consecutive calls to fetch data from the server, by Ajax Tabs (url), the tab stays Loading... forever. Firebug shows that a POST request was made and it completed successfully, however, the Tab stays Loading... forever. If i set it back to type:'get', the Tabs work fine. is it a bug, restriction? if it's a restriction, then why? workarounds?
I built jQuery UI tabs with jQuery UI Accordion embedded into each tab. It works fine on my local machine, it also works fine on all browsers in the development server except using Mozilla Firefox.
Tabs jQuery v2.7.4 of stilbuero. I want to use Ajax Mode and open the links in a specifically container. For example: <div id="box"> <ul id="tabs"> <li><a href="01.html"><span>Tab one</span></a></li> <li><a href="02.html"><span>Tab two</span></a></li> <li><a href="03.html"><span>Tab three</span></a></li> </ul></div> ... <div id="container"></div><!-- Open external links here (01.html, 02.html and 03.html) -->
I am working on a page that will load in other pages using AJAX and the .html method. Something like this :
<span id = "edit">Edit</span> <div id = "cont"> </div> //the click edit script
[Code]....
Unfortunately this does not seem to work, entirely. It does trigger the click event but it messes up the post for some reason. I have played around with it for the last 45 minutes or so and it seems like the click event trigger is what is messing things up, if I comment it out it works fine. Could anyone tell me why they think this is? note this is an over simplified version of my actual code, but the structure is the same.
I'm trying to bind an event handler to a button in a page loaded via Ajax. This procedure should apply to every page I have to load via Ajax. I have tried two things: first, I declared the 'click' event handler for the button like this, and just did my ajax request. Here's the code:
$("#close_button").click(function(){ alert("This should popup"); }); $.ajax({ url: 'js/ajax/text.html',
what i'm trying to do is to acces the content loaded via AJAX but in an other way than by a callback function.i have a div where the data will be loaded via ajax, the data is represented by a list of folders and when i click one of them i want to load then the subfolders and so on, but if i use the callback function this is not gonna be dynamic..cause i don;t know how deep is gonna be the tree.[code]but if i do in this way....first time it works....so id i click <ahref="folder_1">folder_1</a> it loads the subfolders...and if i click then on of the subfolders loaded with ajax it wont work anymore to see the subfolders in the respective folder.
For starters i'm new to jquery and javascript, hence my post here. I've tried to do research but I'm not finding the answers. Here is the problem. the web page i'm working on has 2 area's or panes. one that changes dynamically via ajax and one that stays the same to control the dynamic area. The dynamic content is loaded with the following function to load a given page into the <div>.
[Code]...
When the content is loaded into the div jquery does not work. More specifically i'm using the jquery ui datepicker. The page that is loaded via loadPage() work fine if its not called by the function. but once it is it seems all javascript does not function.
$('#mood').html always contains the value of the values food_rate and tax_rate had before I loaded the new values in. (Before Line 1 and 2 happen)I already red, about event bubbling and event delegation, but the html-elements fax_rate and food_rate exist from the beginning, and only their innerHTML does change.
