<br /><img class="skypebutton_submit_img" src="img/ClearGreenButton.png" />

Jquery :: Get IFrame Content - Submit Form On Page?

Jan 9, 2011

I am using an iframe in my page to submit a form to so that it can upload a file - since you can't do this through the jquery ajax function. I have everything working, but I want to be able to hide the iframe and get the content of it, and put just the content inside of it into another div on the page. I have tried alot of things, but I think this one was probably closest:
$("#myframe")[0].contentDocument;
This ended up getting me a value type of "Object HTMLDocument", I just can't figure out how to get the content as a string so that I can put it into the div I want.

JQuery :: Whenever A User Submit The Form In The #loginForm Div, The Page Refresh And The Main Div Return Invisible?

Jun 7, 2010

i've a div that contains a form, each of these elements have their own id; the structure is something like this

<div class="art-Block-body">
<div class="art-BlockHeader">
<div class="art-header-tag-icon">[code].....

I'd want that: at the first user's click on the #register div, the div #registerForm become visible, it should remains visible also when the user click the submit button within and it should disappear if the user click a second time on the #register.I partially solved my problems with this:

$(document).ready(function(){
$("#registerForm").css("display","none");
$("#register").toggle(function(){[code]....

but i can't resolve the submit issue: whenever a user submit the form in the #loginForm div, the page refresh and the main div return invisible.

How To Have Content Stay Even When Page Reloads

Feb 6, 2011

Im developing a wordpress site for an Internet Radio station. have the flash radio stream plugin & the small chatroom/shoutbox type thing stay (at the front) so that a user can then freely browse the rest of the site on different pages, without the actual stream plugin and shoutbox being refreshed. I need it to stay at the front at certain positions (ie to the left of the content so its not blocking it), so having a pop-up window will not work as it will just disappear behind whatever window the user clicks.Ive had a quick look at Modal windows but (correct me if im wrong) they also "refresh" if a user was to go to a different page.

Table Column Headers To Always Stay On Page

Jan 7, 2006

I'm sure it will be php code that will enable me to complete the following:

print"<table border=1 FRAME=BOX CELLPADDING=2>";

print"<tr BGCOLOR=#0CADE4>";
print"<td width=&#3930;px'>";
print"<div class=white ALIGN=CENTER>";
print"<strong>Select</strong>";
print"</font>";
print"</div>";
print"</td>";

print"<td width=`px'>";
print"<div class=white ALIGN=CENTER>";
print"<strong>Casino Name</strong>";
print"</div>";
print"</td>";

print"<td width=&#3960;px'>";
print"<div class=white ALIGN=CENTER>";
print"<strong>Download <br> Software</strong>";
print"</div>";
print"</td></tr>";

$username = "username";
$password = "password";
$database = "database";

#CONNECT TO MYSQL
$dbcnx = @mysql_connect('mysql5.streamline.net',$username,$password) or die("Unable to connect to MySQL");

#CONNECT TO DATABASE
@mysql_select_db($database) or die( "Unable to select database");

$result = mysql_query($sql);

if (!$result) { echo("<P>Error performing query: " . mysql_error() . "</P>"); exit(); }
$i = 0;

while ( $row = mysql_fetch_array($result) ) {

$i ++;
echo "<tr>";
echo "<td BORDERCOLOR=#9B9B9B ALIGN=CENTER>";
echo "<INPUT TYPE=checkbox NAME='" .$i. "' value=".$row['id']. ">";
echo "</td>";

echo "<td class=blue3 ALIGN=CENTER width=100px>";
echo "<div align=left>";
echo "<a href=" .$row['textlink']. " target='_blank'>";
echo $row["name"];
echo "</a>";
echo "</div>";
echo "</td>";

echo "<td class=blue3 ALIGN=CENTER>";

if ($row['downlandlink'] != &#390;'){
echo "<a href=" .$row['downlandlink']. " target='_blank'>";
echo "<img src='./images/download.jpg' border=0>";
echo "</a>";
}
echo "</td></tr>";

}
?>
</table>

Because there are loads and loads of rows added to the table, when scrollong down the table, the header columns dissapear. Is there any way of making the header column always appear on the page when scrolling down to the bottom of the page?

Submit Form Without Having Loaded Corresponding Page?

Jul 20, 2005

I have a device with embedded webserver. Its page offers to reset the device,with the following javascript function:

function Restart()
{
if (confirm("Your Web browser will lose contact with the
camera.
Are you sure you want to restart the camera?"))
{
var form = document.WizardForm
form.do_reboot.value = "yes"
form.submit()
}
}

Now I want to execute the reset function automatically on a timeschedule (every 24 hours, from crontab). How do I accomplish this? I guess I need something like the reverse of WGET - something like a WPUT or WSUBMIT, that talks to the embedded web server and submits a form with
do_reboot = "yes". However, I have never heard of any such tool.

How can I trigger the functionality in an automated way, without browsing the page and clicking the button manually?

I am running into a problem, that no one else in the world seems to have. When I make a form and submit the page is refreshed, or rather redirected to a state with the values filled after the ? [URL]

I have found solutions that have worked for other people, none of them work for me. I have tested my forms on multiple browsers on multiple systems and the problem persists.

Here is one example of my code where this happens.

How do I get this to not happen? I've tried almost every fix I could find that worked for other people none have worked for me.
