JQuery :: Load Page Into Div Only When Database Variable Is Equal To 1?
Nov 14, 2011
Find a solution to this... I am trying to get a page to load into a div, but only if a database variable is equal to 1, if the variable is not equal to 1, it should check back every 5 seconds. Once the page is loaded into the div, it should stop checking. Also when the page that was loaded into the div is closed, everything starts over again.
Here is the code I am working with:
As you can probably see I am trying to set the start point of a jquery carousel to equal a variable that I have created. You can see I have tried " start: secondstartpoint", but this isn't working. I think possibly because the way the plugin is formatted so that the "start" option can only equal a number.
i am trying to create a form that where the page will not refresh if the form is submitted specially if the user inputs any errors in the form my problem is i do not know how to send multiple variables using jquery to a php file i saw somewhere that in order to do this you need to concatenate the variables you will be sending this is the code i am using
the jquery successfully sends the variable to the php file the problem is once i insert it into a database all the variables i sent are concatenated for example in the column stud_no once you send the form this is what will be inserted "123123name=asdasd"
I have a single webpage that contains information on all 50 U.S. states. There are 50 links at the top to jump down to the state you want, and at the bottom of the information for each state a Back to Top link.
I'm making the Back to Top link into something more complex, and it will require three or four lines of code.
So that I don't have to repeat the code 50 times, and create a burden when I need to edit it, I want to place it in a .js file and call it x. Then below the information for each state I'll simply have:
Does calling code from a .js file 50 times slow down the page load? Which method would load faster?
let's say I have a table "Names" with a field "name" --> bob, and tom (2 records)
I want the ajax/php page to pull out all the names. which would be bob and tom. And then if my database got updated at the backend (ex: a new name jack is added). my page showing bob and tom will automatically be updated with jack showing.
select sum(amount)as Total from studenttbli have wriiten above query ,now i need that amount sum in vbscript variable. i m not able to write tht i have written folowing but it is showing errortotal=sum.filed("Total")
Is it faster/more beneficial to have two snippets of code be generated by php at 2 different urls and then have a load function for each url? Or have the two snippets on one page, surrounded by id's and then load them that way?
I have a simple html form where a user logs in. On my PHP page I have my connection string and everything to verify if the login and password exist. If so it proceeds to another page.I read about some functions jQuery.post(),jQuery.get(),jQuery.ajax()but am having trouble using it. This is the code I have so far:My HTML page:
I use jQuery load function to load another page into part ofcurrent page in asp.net. it is work correctly but insecond page i haveone instance ofCKEditor that is not loaded in first page after use load function.
when i load page it does nothing only blank page, may have code in wrong place but not sure so can someone show me a working example so i can find out what i'm doing wrong also i would like the part of page to refresh evey 120 seconds is this possibe with jquery?
