JQuery :: Inconsistent Behaviour Of Tablesorter Pager Plugin?
Jun 22, 2011
I have to implement Tablesorter Pager plugin on Dynamic Table which will be cleared(emptied) out everytime. I triedby adding pager to [URL].. The sorting is working fine for first time but when i click on append url, the sorting is not working and the pager is skipping pages for large dataon subsequent clicks. I tried all the solutions ( appendCache, update, bind) but nothing seems to be solving the problem.
My issue here is that the click event (edit) will work on page one but it won't when there's more than one page. What I need to do is add the click event to each page and I'm not sure where I need to accomplish this at.
<?php // Include the database page include ('../inc/dbconfig.php'); $query = "SELECT
I have re-styled the tabs of the pager with css so its not orange anymore. Instead the active and the inactive tabs have a background image. What I need to do now is remove the numbers, but I do not know how to. Can someone please tell me how to do so?
If I use remove() instead of hide(), or if I use trigger('update'), the pager drops all pages except the current one. I'd like to use remove(), and ideally the a row that is deleted would be replaced by one from the next page. I thought that trigger('update') was supposed to do that for me.[code]...
As implied by the subject, my question concerns jquery.cycle plugin and I have 2 questions. I tried to find answers searching the web, but didn't find any. I'm currently using cycle to built a photography website and enjoy it a lot so far. However, I'd like to display/update the image number at the same time as the legend (taken in the "alt" of the images). i.e, I'd like to be able to write something like "current frame number / total number of frames" in a div, somewhere. It looks like somebody heavily edited the cycle plugin for the[URL].. to do what I want, but it's not really made in the most elegant way (the cycle plugin is modified, the div name is hard written in the code...). If I find no workaround, I might do it the same way, but I'd prefer avoiding modifying the plugin, if that's possible. So here's my first question : Does anybody know how to display the frame number (and total number of frames) using the standard plugin, only putting some code in the after: function callback ? Second question : with IE7, if all images are already in cache, they all display on the page before the cycle starts and hide them. (one of the page is here : [URL]...
Can anyone recommend a way to add a nice scrolling effect to the pager nav? I am using the imagethumbnails example as shown, but if the number of thumbnails exceeds the width of my div, I would like them to nicely scroll into and out of view as the slideshow continues. Perhaps in conjuction with another jQuery plugin?
I'm using the cycle plugin to create a slideshow of highlights. So far I have the slides automatically fading between each other but I'd also like to have thumbnails that when hovered jumps the slideshow to the associated slide. Using pager and pagerEvent I can do this but I don't know how to use my own thumbnails for the pager.
I have a href tag in my pager. When I click on it the slide changes to the ppropriate pager but the I don't get sent to the link even though allowPagerClickBubble is set to true. This works fine when pagerEvent is 'moveover' (as in the exaple posted here) ie. I get sent to the linked page. But it does not work when pagerEvent is the default 'click.cycle'.
I am having an odd error where the pager generates links but they don't change the slide in FF and Safari. The biggest surprise of all is that it actually works in IE. Here is the page I am referring to: http://220.127.116.11/
I've got two sections of my page that I want to remain in sync as they cycle. I think I'm 95% of the way there, but I just can't quite get it to work. The #slideshow cycle works perfectly, as does the pager, but the #descriptions cycle behaves oddly. It hasn't been completely consistent, but usually it'll cycle after the 2nd slide, then never cycle again. This is the case whether or not I click the pager to #2 then back to #1 or if I just let it cycle.
Is it possible to use enable different transition effects for auto- advance versus the pager (that is, when a user clicks a pager item)? I'd like very much to use "fade" as images auto-advance without user input, but use a more advanced easing effect if the user clicks an item in the pager.
I have been running the cycle plugin with success for a while, using 3 images, a caption, and a pager area (simple dots). I just added a fourth image/caption. the pager picks up the fourth image, adding a dot. However, it now fades in on transition, then immediately out. no other code changed other than the addition of a fourth image. why this is now malfunctioning?
I have a table, 10 cols, 200 rows. Using tablesorter causes a memory leak on every page refresh of almost 2mB. A smaller table causes a proportionately smaller memory leak. Is there way to clear this memory? I've tried setting inner html of the table to '', but it makes no difference. Is there even a universal method i can call to remove any trace of any jquery plugin I have on the page?
I have the cycle plugin running, works fine on all but IE7 (not catering to IE6). The pager elements on the right do not appear in IE7. I have tried adjusting the z-index, etc., but can't figure it out.
Also, the caption text transitions in with bolded elements properly appearing, and then they flip to regular text (the whole line of text transitions a bit strangely).
I am using the jQuery TableSorter plugin on a table that I have shaded. The table sorts successfully, but the shading is not refreshed when the table refreshes. How can I refresh the shading as well after the sort?
I have a xhtml jsf page that load anothers xhtml jsf pages that have, each page, 1 table with tablesorter enabled, when i load the first xhrml into the DIV the tablesorter works ok, when i load the next page the tablesorter od the page loaded before stops to work. In fact, after debugged the table sorter code, I found that the header.click() of the tablesorter loaded before is being called twice.
The default sort (when clicking on any of the headers in the tablesorter table) is ascending. Now, I want to change that to descending for ALL columns, not just the initial sort column (defined in sortList). I've tried editing sortInitialOrder parameter in the .js itself, and nothing. I've tried adding it as a parameter in my html page when defining and assigning tablesorter, and nothing. What am I missing? And how do I accomplish this?
I am using Table sorter to sort the table. I need sort to work only if i click explicitly on header sort image, not on headers. I am using dynamic column width on headers and whenever the colum is resizing the table sorter is getting called unnecessarily because the click event is getting fired on the header. Do i need to change the $headers.click call in jquery.tablesorter.js page?
