Jquery :: Radio Buttons And Submit - Selected Radio Button's Value To Be Inserted Into The Href Of The Link??
Jan 20, 2011
I have 3 radio buttons with the same name ("myradio"). The value of each is a different URL (eg. value="http:[url]...)I have a link underneath these (<a href="#">Send</a>). I would like the selected radio button's value to be inserted into the href of the link, and if the user selects a different radio button that this changes.
how I can make each radio button call a different page. For example If i click on radio button 1 and click submit it will take me to [url].... and if I click radio button 2 and click submit .
I am trying to create a javascript that will display a confirmation message when a user submits a form and has specifically selected a particular radio button.
Assuming the user selects the second radio button (Value 2), how would I display a message that states "Are you sure you want to do value 2?" and then also includes a "Submit" and "Cancel" button?
Im trying to configuere a form that a.a radio buttons that allow the user to choose between quarters, nickels, dimes and pennies and show image when click on my radio button.how to get the image to display whenthey click on the radio button?
I have a set of radio buttons each with an onclick event that has a numeric value. When the button is clicked an input box called "Total" is updated with the new value. The problem I'm having is that if a radio button is checked and one clicks on it again then the onclick event is triggered.
Is there any way to prevent the onclick event from triggering if the radio button is already checked?
I have a form with 4 radio buttons, the scenario is, when a user click on a radio button a hidden content will be displayed and the other three radio buttons will be disabled so that at one time a user can only click and view single radio button and the hidden content. Here is my code to show hide the hidden content but i need when the user select one radio button the other radio buttons should disable.
I am trying to develop an exam system.Find my code below.I request you to copy the code and save it as an html file .I have 2 problems:
1. Kindly notice that when the quiz is loaded,it shows both the questions by default.I want only question 1 to be visible when the quiz loads. What happens presently is that ,both questions are visible even after I click on the link Q.1( referring to question 1).However,when I click on Q. 2,then only question 2 can be seen and then(after clicking on Q.2) if I click on Q.1,then only question 1 can be seen
What I want is that when the page loads only question 1 is visible. Then when I click on Q.2,I can see only question 2 and when I click on Q.1, I can see only question 1.I later plan on adding many questions,so it should be a general solution rather than a solution good only for 2 questions.
2.Also,what I want is that,if someone selects any of the answers of a particular question,it's link color should turn green to indicate to the user that he answered that question. So for, instance,if I select an answer to the first question(select one of London,New York,Seattle,Washington,Chicago), the link Q.1 should turn green.
I'm a just wondering about something that might be quite simple but I'm not sure how to achieve it.
<form>
That's the code for my form. Two radio boxes one called car and one called bus. I'm not so much bothered about the contents of what is selected, just that if car or bus (or both) is selected.
I have two buttons:
If I choose a car such as Ford, I want the car one to be changed to
I also want the submit button to be 'greyed out' until both of them have been submitted which looks like this.
I have a form that will dynamically place a number of radio button groups on the page. I don't want the user to be able to submit the form until a value has been chosen for ALL fields. I have hidden the submit button with the though of showing it again once ALL fields have been checked. My code so far...
$(document).ready(function () { //Hide the submit button $('#MainContent_sbmtButton').hide(); //Change background of question to show clearly which questions have been answered
[code]....
This doesn't work as expected. It shows the submit button when any of the radio buttons are clicked.
I'm trying to create a questionnaire style series of radio buttons which are hidden and then a different set of radio buttons displayed depending on the previous answer. eg
Q1 Is it a man? (if select yes then display)
Q2 Is he called John? (if no then display)
Q3 Is he called Gary? and so on...
I've been testing using the code below but wondered if anyone had any ideas on how this could be done easily?
what i need to do to add all the radio botton and check box. i already finish the add formula on the checkbox but i do not know how to add the two selected radio buttons to my checkbox buttons.for example:
The code I wrote is showing three random results from the database and each result gets three options to choose from (spoon, fork, knife). What I need to figure out is a way to make sure each image thats showing up gets one vote - and the person cannot vote on the same answer for pic2 and pic3 (ie: if they vote "spoon" for pic1, I need it to give a "please vote again" message if they click the same answer for pic2 or pic3).
I cant seem to get this submitForm Validator to work. It needs to see if one of the two radio buttons are selected. I just cant seem to get it to work, anyone know whats wrong?
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <title>Concert</title> <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" /> [Code]...
show a div when 3 "Yes" radio buttons are clicked. Heres my code:
[Code]....
If you answered YES to 3 or more of the above questions you may have Sleep Apnea - a potentially serious breathing disorder that can lead to heart attack, stroke, or high blood pressure in later life.
I'm trying to figure out how I can have a script add up the number of radio buttons selected for each category. For example, on a test, I'll have three options for each question. I want to add up how many A's are selected, how many B's are selected and how many C's are selected for each question.
I'm not very learned in Javascript, but I know I can use it to accomplish this. I searched Google and found a script that would do this with TWO options, but I need it done with THREE, and cannot figure out how to change the code . Here's the script I found:
and now I need to de-select the radio buttons after it has been selected. I've looked around and can't seem to find a way. Only other way I could figure is to refresh the page but if I do that I loose all my variables. It's not at all finished yet, but if you want to see what I've done so far: javascript currency ranking I'm liking Javascript much more, it's not as difficult as I thought it was.
I'm making a javascript game for a digital media class and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to code this. The idea is that there's three similar images, one that's different and the user must select the image that's different by selecting the radio button below it and pressing the Submit button.
So in the if/else statement, I want it to be programmed so that if the correct answer is selected and then submitted, it will take you to another webpage. If an incorrect answer is selected, I want an alert to pop up and say Sorry, that's Incorrect. Here's the coding I have so far, none of which is working.
<script type="text/javascript"> function processAnswer() { for (i = 0; i <= 3; i++)
so basically this is what I have its 2 sets of radio buttons named budget, premier and superior which values are $2,$3 and $5 respectively. a checkbox that if checked the value would make the the first group of radios multiplied by 2 if not it will remain the same the second group would be weekly, monthly and annually which the values will be multiplied to 1,x(52/12) and 52 respectively to everything above. the total would be displayed as an alert message if the none of the first group is selected an alert would be issued when calculate is pressed and that would be please select level of cover and if none of the second group is selected it would display please select frequency of payment but if none is selected at all both alerts would be displayed on a single dialogue box, i cant make a script to make it function properly .i didnt include the script because i suck it doesnt work
<form name="InsuranceCalc"> <p><h2>calutaling insurance</h2></p> <p> Please complete the form.</p>[code].............
I am a PHP programmer and new to Javascript and jQuery and I have tried about 20 examples/tutorials and cannot seem to get even close to what I want.I have a form (PHP/MySQL) with a list of subjects I got from my database, and then create a set of radio buttons from that list. And based on what radio button they select, I need to pass that variable to a div (at least that's what I want to use) and then show a list of videos that match the radio buttons value. I don't care if its a get or post or other.I tried to use GET or POST so I can use that value for my PHP/MySQL lists.I am open to any suggestions/tutorials, etc.
I have 4 groups of radio buttons (4 different questions using radio buttons) that I need to be required but only if a check box is selected. Also, is there a way to disable these radio buttons if the check box has not been selected?
I have some code that runs when a radio button is clicked (and thereby selected) but the problem I am having is that when I refresh the page, the radio button is still selected, but the associated code does not run. How can I check to see if a radio button is selected in this situation so that I can apply the appropriate code?
I want to make a link that will have a pop up with radio buttons. The user will press the buttons that make sense to them. This will then be put back into a form they are already filling out. Where can I learn to do something like this?
I am trying to create a form with radio buttons, when an option is selected and submitted it comes up with a message but i cant get it working. If the first radio button is selected I want the message class 1 and if the second class 2 etc
I need a way to auto select certain radio buttons and then submit the page. Here is the form: [URL]. For questions 1 and 2 i would like the answer submitted to be "no" and for all others "no". I've been trying to do this with the little coding knowledge.
