i have one issue on Font resizing - To set proportional fonts(i.e Arial or verdana) to match window size. That is, if this setting is in effect, and the window is enlarged, then the font size should correspondingly increase.if you get the browser's width and height details on window resize,is it possible through javascript?

I want to implement a text input box for SMS text messages and the messages are limited to 160 characters (including spaces, etc.). I would like the font color of the text to be green as the user types and any text beyond 160 characters to be red. I would like to do this with one input box, the same box that the user is typing in not a separate display box. This will be on the users local PC it won't be on the Internet.

I have 3 divs (boxes) next to each other, I can input text via a textarea to each. I need all 3 to resize - be the same size on text overflow - so if box a gets 100 lines of code and resizes, the other 2 should follow. I have written this js, and added it to the button which moves the text to the boxes (to the onclick)

Im using the cycle plugin trying to make a banner slide tha is 100% the width of the window, my problem is that when i resize de window the banner does not align center, it stays somo what left align. So is there a way to keep the slides align center after you resize the window usingthe cycle plugin? or is there another plugin that i can do that? I attached a image to ilustrate, the white banner with the cat should align center when i resize the windows but it stays left align.

I have this comment area that after clicking submit i will append the new comment in the list of comments through ajax... i got one problem though, everything is working perfectly well except for the textarea that won't change back to it's default size...

I've made this little example script for a project I'm working on, and the text that gets output seems to be chewed up in IE for Windows. Every other (major) browser has no problem rendering the text, but in IE it seems garbled, or aliased perhaps. Can anyone confirm this, and maybe help me diagnose it? Code:

In my application some of my data which is coming in text boxes is in arabic. in database i can see arabic chars properly , but in text box it is appearing in strange chars. even if i try to write arabic in code itself to be appear in some headings they are appearing in some boxes.
