Mar 16, 2010I am a PHP programmer and new to Javascript and jQuery and I have tried about 20 examples/tutorials and cannot seem to get even close to what I want.I have a form (PHP/MySQL) with a list of subjects I got from my database, and then create a set of radio buttons from that list. And based on what radio button they select, I need to pass that variable to a div (at least that's what I want to use) and then show a list of videos that match the radio buttons value. I don't care if its a get or post or other.I tried to use GET or POST so I can use that value for my PHP/MySQL lists.I am open to any suggestions/tutorials, etc.

Issue is that after receiving confirm alert, when user press tab to go on Cancel button and press Enter key there, despite of firing event of Cancel button, it fires the event of OK button. this issue is not produced when user press the cancel button by mouse. Website Doesn't Work On Chrome 6 Or Windows Vista/7?
Sep 17, 2010I just finished coding my website. It can be seen here: [URL]
However, in Chrome 6, the bar at the top doesn't stay static, but moves with the page. This shouldn't happen, but I can't work out why.
Also, the options on the top menu are moved to the right on Windows Vista/7 (the OS is the only link that I can make between the computers having this problem).
With both of these problems, after trying for ages to fix it, I still have managed to accomplish nothing. I am also not sure if these problems are caused by the JavaScript, CSS, or HTML.
P.S. All of the CSS/JavaScript files can be found linked in the source.

Alert If No Radio Buttons Are Checked?
Oct 12, 2011got 3 groups of radio buttons that, if not all checked, needs to give an alert message when button clicked to continue. The button is not a submit button, but just to continue to the next part of the form which is hidden.

The onClick function on the image is to hide these and display next part of form.
I understand that I could just check them automatically to force user to change them if they wanted to or just continue but if there is way to do it another way.
Or if possible to hide my continue button until all 3 groups are selected, also without using checked="checked"

Only Works With An Alert() - Background <div> Doesn't Fine
May 6, 2011I'm loading images one time after another on the click without AJAX It works fine on GOOGLE CHROME, but not on IE. The images load fine. The background <div> doesn't. It loads the size of the previous image. This is when I goto the nextButton and prevButton function. I also read it is because the image hasn't loaded fully yet. How do I wait until the image has loaded before it continues? If this is correct.

Firefox The Alert Box Pops Out And Is Displayed On Top Of Everything But In Ie It Doesn't Do The Same
May 28, 2009I have an alert message which is displayed with a timer of 10 seconds. I start the timer and minimize the window. For firefox the alert box pops out and is displayed on top of everything but in ie it doesn't do the same so I have to open the window manually to see the alert message.

Sep 22, 2011so basically this is what I have its 2 sets of radio buttons named budget, premier and superior which values are $2,$3 and $5 respectively. a checkbox that if checked the value would make the the first group of radios multiplied by 2 if not it will remain the same the second group would be weekly, monthly and annually which the values will be multiplied to 1,x(52/12) and 52 respectively to everything above. the total would be displayed as an alert message if the none of the first group is selected an alert would be issued when calculate is pressed and that would be please select level of cover and if none of the second group is selected it would display please select frequency of payment but if none is selected at all both alerts would be displayed on a single dialogue box, i cant make a script to make it function properly .i didnt include the script because i suck it doesnt work

IE Doesn't Load External Javascript Files
Aug 21, 20061. I create an HTML document that validates at w3c
2. I use:

4. In Firefox, it works beautifully ( no shock )
5. In IE it does not ( no shock )
6. If i put the function in inline <scripttags in my HTML, the JS
runs fine (no syntax error).
