Php Files Inside DHTML Windows

ive downloaded the DHTML window script from here :

and have it running on my site.
i also have a DTHML / ajax chat running on the site which is currently on the main page in an iframe. im trying to put this iframe inside the DHTML window, i have tried all 4 of the window types and for each one i either get the items in the directory or the source code eg
if i put the link as test/ i get the list of files in that directory, if i put test/index.php i get <php? source code blah blah ?>
it works fine with .html files i assume its because they are .php ?

My computer seems to have problems with its javascript when opening new windows from certain sites that are either audio or video files. I simply have not got a clue where to begin.

I have the following code inside an include file which is included in my index.php page. All of my include files are placed in a folder called includes alongside my index file and the file ajax_getusers.php. When I have tested out this code all in one page it works fine but if I put the first section of code below in an include and include it in my index page it does not work at all. Is therer any reason for this?

I have the following JavaScript (see below). The script requests an XML file from the server and displays it on the page.The script works fine when the requested XML file is stored on the same server as the script.The problem is when I try requesting an XML file from an external server such as the National Weather Service. I get an error. If I take the XML file from the National Weather Service and save it to my server it works. Why can't I use my script to request XML files stored on external servers?

This is for the scorm purpose to list all the files. some examples are listing files but not listing the files inside the subdirectories. I have four folders and each folder has one images, let say ( images-one.jpg, images-two.jpg, images-three.jpg, images-four.jpg). now,in index.php page there are four buttons, each buttons for each images. if i clicked button numer two for images-two.jpg, and then it will show that images name from that folder in index.php page. and then if i reload same index.php page or refreshed same page, i want to show SAME images that I clicked before which is images-two.jpg. how can i write that code to show images from four files, each files are in each folder.

I have a parent window that pushes a new window object onto an Array
with the following code :
OpenChild()

This pops up a new window with every call. In the child window I call
a parent function onbeforeunload, appClose() :

This is in my frameset tag of the child code :
<frameset ... onbeforeUnload='appClose()'>
The window.opener.CloseChild() function is called perfectly when I have
one child window open, but as soon as I create another child window
both of the open child windows don't ever call it. They do both go
into the onbeforeunload appClose() function, but do not call the
window.opener.CloseChild() function inside of this routine.
Anyone have any ideas why when I have two child windows open I can't
access the window.opener functions?
I have tried taking each new window out of the array and used the
following code in CloseChild() :

I've been searching for about 3 days on this topic. I'm trying to get a template field inside of an ASP.Net detailsview control inside of an ajax updatepanel to work with the jquery datepicker. Very frustrating! I'm using VB with VS 2010. I can get the datepicker to work fine with a simple text box inside of an update panel but when I put it inside of a detailsview control it stops working.

consider the next code:

It prints 10 and undefined. Here, one could expect that obj.x get the
value 10. But it's not the case, because variable declarations are
placed at the start of function code (or global code), so the
previous code is equivalent with:
var obj;
var x;
obj = {};
with(obj) {
x = 10;
}
print(x);
print(obj.x);
You can clearly see now that x is placed in the outer context. But
consider the next:
var obj = {};
with(obj) {
eval("var x = 10;");
}
print(x);
print(obj.x);
I was expecting that obj.x would get the value 10 here. But no, it
gives the same output as the previous code. I tested it with
spidermonkey, kjs and ie jscript. Looking at the ECMA spec, I could

I've copied some code from a book which will enable me to make a layer
around a page, my aim is to do something a little more complex but this I
thought would get me started.
Anyway, I've run into a problem before I even start! The script works OK, it
runs the image in from the left hand side quite nicely, great. Problem I
have it always scrolls up to the top of the page, when the link I click
maybe 2 or 3 screens below (does that make sence?). I thought if I was to
add a name attribute to the link I could get the co-ordinates of this and

Here goes:
I'm looking for a particular dhtml content scroller that is will slide to different sections of the content when a link is clicked.
Imagine a long table with all the pages of content on it side by side and a layer is placed over that table so that when a link is clicked the desired content will slide into view.
Its a very common effect used in flash sites but im wondering if anyone knew how to do it using dhtml.

I have a form that will display either text boxes to edit a start and end date or just display nothing depending on the selection from a <select>. I am using JavaScript and DHTML to accomplish this and the code below works fine. When the page loads my <select> will have a value already.
My question is how do I get the correct block of code to show up when the page loads depending on what is already selected? I can't use an onLoad in the body tag because I am unable to edit the body tag. Code:

I've got a good cross browser dhtml fade in script that shows random images from an array when the window loads. It works perfectly for that.

I'm having a hard time with the use of my DHTML menu and video on my
site. The video is served using Windows Media Player. Short of hiding
it, I can't seem to get my DHTML menu to appear above the video.
Unfortunately, I have noticed that hiding the video caused the browser
to flash several times. Does anyone know of anything I can implement
that would minimize the client side impact and also allow my menu to
appear on top of the video?

I am testing in IE7.
I display one of several spans when the user mouses over some code.
Inside the span are several tabs. Clicking on the tab triggers a JS
function that hides the "current" text for the span, then shows the
"new Current" box. It's a constantly revolving door- turn off old,
turn on new. Switch from one span to another and reset the fields.
When I switch between different "spans" then switch back, there are
ghost form elements on the screen (a text area, a blank button) that
appear near where they should be. The section that I was last on does
not display. This occurs when switching between different spans.
HOWEVER, when I set a javascript alert to display what the old visible
and new visible divs are within each span, none of these problems
occur- everything displays correctly. It's as if the alerts "reset"
the javascript display in some fashion. The errors only happen when
the alerts are not on.
Does anyone know why this might happen or if it's a common occurence
that these problems disappear when an alert is used? If I don't use an
alert, how do you display JS variables during testing. Here are some
