Im looking to increment a value of a Lable when an image is clicked.
e.g. if the label contains 1 and the image is clicked, the label should be changed to 2.
How can I make an image label that when I clicked will change from one label to another.
Let say I have index.html where my label is displayed. Then I have label01.jpg to label20.jpg stored on label sub folder.
What I want is to be able to change my label one at a time from label01.jpg to label20.jpg everytime i click the label. then go back to label01.jpg after label20.jpg
For illustration purpose, see image below. I want the label to change every click until I got the label right for the video screen. I have 20 video screen in one page and I need to change the labels depending on the video.
Actually a more preferred solution is for the script to cycle through all the pictures on my label folder so that if I have new labels I only need to dump it in the folder and it will become available.
I am creating a static(only raw data) web site and want to show a panel as following.

how i can achive funtionality to click on label 1 and show details data and again clicking hides label1 data I am using page breeze html editior, Is it possible i can use java script functions in it,
Should I disable the right click option or not? I have a gallery site, I don't want people to be able to copy the images with the default right click over an image. From a professional looking site point of view I suppose I would be messing with the functionality a bit too much, OR is it OK in this instance to disable the click. I know how to write the code to disable the click, but what I was thinking was maybe it would be better to leave the right click but change the menu options? I'm not sure how to change the menu options ere is a link to the site. [URL]
Im trying to have a click event that replaces an image on the page with a new image that has been selected randomly from an array. I have solved PART of this already (can get the random image to appear).
However, instead of appearing on the page where the old image was, the new image appears in a blank page.
My research indicates that this blank page location-problem is a result of using document.write in the Function. Therefore, I know I need to find a different way to accomplish this, but am failing miserably.
I have been trying for hours and hours and HOURS to figure out proper syntax for accomplishing this via elements, functions, variables and mootools.
A bit of my research:
-I found this---but havent figured out how to implement it in my scenario:

For a real estate website, I want to create a script which will tell visitors how many days a property has been on the market. For example say the property was posted on the site on 1/1/2009. I want the site to say "This property has been on the market for 394 days." .

I've been trying to have an image be placed during a mouse over or mouse click event. The closest to accomplishing this is having the image be replaced by the image I want to overlay.
I have a loop that is running and I am trying to increment a number by one each time. Here is what I am doing, but each time it just writes out 1 for the value.
var i=1; Start of Loop document.write(i); var i=i++; End of loop
I need to develop this feature for a charity site displays a number that counts up 1 every 15 seconds. This is to show how many times a kid is abused in this country.
I figured this piece of code was a good start:
function doSomething() { setTimeout('doSomething()',15000); }
What I need is 2 form fields, an up link, and a down link. I want the user to be able to select one of the form fields, then increment, or decrease the number in the field that has been selected by clicking one of the links. How might I do this?
I have a for loop and would like to increment a variable for (let's say) 2 instead of one (++). How can I do that?
I have tried for instance x + 2 instead of x++ but when I try it in IE an error saying that a script is making IE to run slowly and then nothing happens. So how to do this?
Using a UI dialog I'd like to load in 10 or so images. Each would be unique and after you click on one the following needs to happen:
1. Image appears on the parent page in a specified ID.
2. A "hidden" field is updated so that when the user submits the db is updated with their selection.
3. Dialog closes automatically.
That's it. Basically it would work similar to "datepicker".I'm using the latest 1.4 and ui and been making great progress as learning basics. I need to do the above and it seems like such a no brainier and or it should already exist but after 2 days of searching and trial and error...
I am still designing the website and want some flexibility. I am capturing the mouse clicks fine on top of an image, but the coordinates are absolute and not relative to the image. How can I capture mouse clicks relative to the image so that I can move the image anywhere in my website?
I have four links that use graphics to create an unvisited and visited state (using CSS). The link actually changes a section of text elsewhere on that page, so the user doesn't leave the page. The clicked, visited graphic reflects what text you are reading. You can then select a different link, and new text reflects the link you clicked on. What goes wrong is that if you click all four links, you eventually get all four visited graphics showing.
What I want is this. You click on the graphic and the graphic changes to visited. You then select a different link and that state goes to visited but the previous link that is visited too, changes back to unvisited. Therefore when you click on any link, that visited state is shown, and all others always reset to unvisited. The results is that the visited graphic reflects the current text on that page.
I have written the follow code. It is meant to (when finished) output a table showing each member of the array PEOPLE. There Income ,there Tax bracket and there finally there total tax paid. The calulations in the if-else statements are correct.I have to create a loop that will go through the if else statements equal to the amount of the people in the array (This is no problem I have done this earlier)
My problem is when I try to add each element (PEOPLE) to the table or there indivual tax outcomes. Can I create a loop and increment in the elements each iteration to put on the table?(for there names) As I am not meant to store each iteration,it is to write to the table each time. This is the code I'm working on with out the loop.
I'm trying to write some jquery that when a link is clicked it adds a number into a div. Every time the link is clicked it adds another number(previous number + 1). i have this but it definitely doesn't work function addnumber(X)[code]As it is now, the first click does nothing. The second click spits out "2<br>2<br>". The third click spits out "2<br>2<br>2<br>". The fourth "2<br>2<br>2<br>2<br>" and so on.
The following is my javascript code to extend a form:
[Code]...
Everything works fine except for the counter/adding on to theName ( newField[i].name = theName + counter). I know exactly what the problem is... I just don't know how to fix it. If I remove the li tags, the counter will work fine and increment each "name". As soon as I put the li (see code above) tags back (or any html tag - I have tested others as well) - it breaks again and won't increment the name - it just submits the names without numbers and alas I have no usable post data. how to keep the html formatting there and still get the counter to increment the name?
I have modified a free JS function from here: [URL] To dynamically add text fields to the form. My work-in-progress version is here: [URL] On the form, I have a hidden text field:
