Greyout Specific Dates In Popup Calendar?

I have 2 different pages. one is where i will set the generic settings for golf course. the other is a reservations page which provides an option to add new reservation page. Now in the settings page i can set no of days to 1 thru 5. it will be inserted into config table in database. Based on this, on reservation page, i need to show only 1 or 2 or 5 days on the popup calendar starting from today which allows to select one while making new reservation.based on the setting if i can prepopulate those dates in a drop down list on the addreservation.php

I have a pair of dates in a form that are made up of 3 text fields per date. The day and month fields are 2 digit, the year is 4 digit.
startday
startmonth
startyear
endday
endmonth
endyear
I can't easily change this for a number of reasons. I know the values themselves will be valid (they're generated by a calendar selection script) but I want to check the date created by the end variables is not before the start date. Any script to build a date from the 3 fields for each, and return false if the end date is earlier than the start date?

I downloaded a calendar script that allows a user to just click on the date and have it populate the form input field- the problem is it lets you enter dates previous to today. I would like it so it could not enter any dates less than today.
Problem is, I know nothing about javascript. I am less than a noobie.
Would some kind soul have a look and see if it would be possible to do and show me what to do.
The code is below. There is also a css file which I did not include.

I am working on a form where users enter a Start Date and an End Date via a pop up calendar using JavaScript. This works well. From the results of that data, I need to
1) Calculate the number of days + 1;
2) Multiply #1 by $25 to get the amount allocated for meals - and I need it done dynamically.
Now, I can get this to work using onblur in the two input fields for the dates, but that means users would have to put the focus within the input fields after they've done the calendars and tab or click else where in order for the values to take effect and the javascript to calculate the correct values for meal. It was suggested to try to use jquery, which I have been trying to no avail and I'm just wondering if I am doing this wrong. I thought .trigger or .triggerHandle would do it, but nothing seems to happen.
Here's my script I'm trying to use to activate these scripts:

I've tried just using a simple if/then statement within my javascript that calculates the values, but it doesn't launch automatically, which is my problem, and it should launch immediate after the "End Date" variable has been entered. Everything else works.

I'm working on redesign of a vacation rental company web site, and I'm looking to use a drop down calendar to select the arrival/departure date on the search form. getting the number of nights difference between dates (though I think the code/labels are slightly backward in that example), but I don't know where to start to split off the variables I need. Basically, the search.php file I'm passing the variables to need to be in this format:

I have been checking out the calendar plugins and I was hoping I would find one in which I could display listed events during certain dates. For example, I have a web site for a divers club and we have events that happen on certain dates. I would like to have a calendar in which the user could click a certain date and something shows the user what is going on that day.

I have to do validation on a form for 2 dates(StartDate and EndDate)the dates cannot be more than four months apart if they are an alert must be displayed. In other words Nov 2009 till March 2010 or May 2009 till September 2009 should be invalid regardless of the day of the month Simply 2 input boxes(StartDate and EndDate) and a submit I've got the other parts of my page worked out just this has me stumped

Hi everyone - Ok, sorry - I'm new, but I'm trying hard to learn. I'm working (for free) at a church that have asked me if it is possible to change their webpage backgrounds, based on specific dates (this is so it fits in with the liturgical calendar). I'm not 100% sure of all the dates yet, but know there are seven images with assocaited colours that they'd use, and would like the website to automatically change the backgrounds, based on specific date.

I am planning on placing a small icon to the right of my date fields to allow people to choose the date from a calendar. It doesn't need to be full sized. That's right folks, it's your favorite noob again. I am working on a popup calendar, and it is almost finished. The problem I am running into, is there seems to be an infinite llop somewhere in the cell creation. i have attached a snippet of the popup calendar as it currently is produced. As usual, I have spent the requisite 2 hours staring at my code. I found a few things, but I am now stumped.Here is my code, let me know what you see.

If the screen resolution is small enough, or the window is small enough the calendar that appears when a user clicks the textbox for the datepicker appears on top of the textbox - usually it appears below.
I have some text links at the top-right of my page, and if the window is small enough, the datepicker calendar goes underneath these text links.
Is there a way to have the popup calendar ALWAYS on top of every element on the page? If not, is there a way to have the datepicker popup calendar ALWAYS appear below the textbox?

I have 3 drop downs for day/month/year ,this basically is for when some
text entered into a textarea is entered expires
However there will be some text that will never expire,so I would like to
place a radio or even a check box that says "never expires", however
when this is ticked I would like the 3 selects for day/month/year to be greyed out, so that they cannot be selected. Is that possible.?

I am trying to fix permission denied error on a popup calendar in my page. Infact this functionality works with Netscap + PKI Certificate but this functionality not works with IE + PKI certificate. Without PKI certificate it is works fine with IE. With PKI certificate when I click on calander image i get "Permission Denied" error but it display the calander after when I select the date it change the data in the data field but calander do not close and throw another error "top.newWin is null or not an object".

What is happening is $(this) is no longer based on .expand being the (this) that is clicked.
like if i have a button SOMEWHERE randomly on the page with this
<div onclick="Minimize('_alerts');">Click Here</div> this will minimize alerts but because the (this) in minimize function doesn't actually point to the right button that I want to add a class to.
Is there a way to modify the minimize function so that it finds the <div id="mytoggle"><ul> <li class="expand boxminimize" rel="_alerts"> using the rel toggle, and then changes the class of the li from expand boxminimize to boxexpanded??
just like the .expand click function I posted on the top of the post that works?

Another thing that has been driving me crazy is that css positioning is handled differently by different browsers. JS is not my area, but I can do a lot with CSS, and I do, but cross browser compatibility is killing me.
I can use an IF IE statement and only IE runs that segment of code, but I haven't been able to figure out out how to make ONLY firefox or ONLY opera or safari enact an encapsulated segment of code. The same type of IF statement doesn't work for them.
Is there a single method using JS that works for all browsers?
