adding a parenthesis in the area code of the phone number and validating it also. I made some javascript code but it is not working. I just need the code in adding () in the area code.
For example: When user enter 10 digit number no spaces or dashes such as 0000000000 or 000-000-0000, I would like to have this format right away (000)000-0000. I know how to replace the characters but adding it is a tricky one for me.
1. When I have the "<textarea>" code lines in it put a text-area on the page, but it puts all of the code following that first text-area line into the text-area box and doesn't execute that segment of code.
2. When there is no "<textarea>" (for the sake of seeing if the rest of it worked) it doesn't check the survey.

In the case of both the parents and their children, when a parent is toggled open I want the other parents to toggle closed . The same applies to the children of each parent. I want to close all the other open children when a child is toggled open. Rather like some accordions - which I can not use for this function. This works well in all of my applications and does not depreciate in multiple browsers. It is only the search type input, you can include this in any form area to see how it works and set your custom parameters.Upon focusing on the form (E.g. entering text) the "TEXT YOU WANT" will disappear.

i have made a small accordion on a sub page on my site, when you come to the site all areas are closed (as the shud bee.on my frontpage i have some links to the accordion, that when clickd takes you to the page with the accordion and shud oppen the coresponding accordion area. I can get it to work for all the links except for the one to the first accordion area.

I'm trying to open an email window with 200+ emails this way...

When the list consists of a few emails it works, when the list is large, I get "The data area passed to a system call is too small" error.
I guess I can make a huge mailto hyperlink, but I think that would look horrible. If anybody has an idea please help me out.

I dont understand how it prints 1. The way I see it it sees the for looks inside the parenthesis, assigns count a value of 1, goes to the comparison sees that it is less than 3, then gets incremented by 1 at the next station, and then finally goes in the curly brackets and the string is written. So if it starts with 1, is less than 3, and is increased by 1. before it starts the loop, then the first sentence would read:

This is working as I want but I am getting an popup that your window is going to close by a program can we remove that, I am using IE6.0
I'm running a bat file that runs a php script, that backs up my db.
Problem is that I'm limited by the functions I can use as I'm on a winXP box and dont want to compromise security.
The function I'm left with means I should run the script from a browser as it echoes out the results. At this point I'm not opening a browser so it is creating a few problems.
To get around this I thought I might be able to use js. But, I've been testing with a script I hacked (and I mean hacked, its probably a mess).
4 problems:
1. its trying to download a file
2. still has a pop-up asking if its ok to close window
3. its not displaying the php file
4. even if I click the 'go back' link it still asks if it should close.
