RSS Feeds Using Src, But Within SCRIPT Tag?

I am using AJAX, which passes in a parameter to an ASP page. The parameter determines which RSS feed to load. Only prob is the code:

which works fine on its own, doesn't work in Ajax (or in any Javascript function) because I had to create a new script tag to display the feed.

So I basically am asking if there is an alternative to using the following which would work:
