I have numerous checkboxes and when these are clicked upon I want to increase a number value further up the page. So as a checkbox is selected or deselected the relevant + or - 1 shall be applied to the number at the top of the page.

I want to use the .css of jquery to take lets say 5 buttons css position absolute left value. I want increase this value. So it will move the buttons to the right. I have a button that when clicked that it will run this jquery code. Where the 5 buttons moves to the right. I want to do this all at ones. In otherwords I want to put $("#1_button,#2_button,#3_button").css("left": function (value) { code to increase left position value}); I want to do something like that. Is it possible? and how would one do it. what I want it to do is grab all the buttons left position value and then add numbers to it to increase all buttons left position shifting all to the right. So if I add 10px I want all buttons to increase by 10px causing it to move 10px to the right.
I have some code that I downloaded from the internet that shows you how to add a row to the bottom of your table by clicking a link. I have a PHP variable that counts the rows of the data that I currently have in my MySQL table and I want the variable to be grabbed by this javascript and every time I add a row it puts the number at the end of my name of my input statement (within the javascript) increased by 1.
Here's my php that gets my count of my rows

And here's the javascript to add a row

So to recap, I'm looking to somehow have the id="navpn1" and the name="navpn1" actually be navpn($CNTROWS +1) the first time I click the 'Add Row' link and then navpn($CNTROWS +2) and so on...
Currently they are all just set at 50% width, I'd like the width to automatically adjust the width based on the input box value, without the user having to submit anything! If anything in jQuery exists like this to, to get a nice smooth scrolling that'd be lovely but not essential.

I am doing a project for web programming class, and it's about forms and checkboxes. One of the requirements is to make a function that allows you to mouseover a div block and it will increase the size of the text in THAT div block by 25%. It's really werid, because I cannot find ANYTHING on the internet about it. I know the function would be as so: <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- function divFontSize{ document.getElementbyId("sizeup").style.display = " --> Or something of that relevance. I need to know what I could use in order to increase the size of font INSIDE of a div element by 25%. I also need a mouseout that will bring it back to it's original state.
I have site A that has an iframe and site B shows up in this iframe. I need to increase the height of the iframe according to the content in it from inside site B. I need some pushing in the right direction to get to some documentation or online resources.

I want to increase the size of a word within a sentence when the mouse comes over it, but without doing any changes in the other words in the sentence.
And this applies to each word in the sentence not a specific word.
[code]The image's height is 376px. So once the content goes after 376px, the blue bgcolor alternate takes over. But what i want is, once the content crosses the 376px height, the background image should dynamically stretch and not repeat. If this is not possible please do tell me how to increase the height of image in <img> using DOM methods.Again this should increase when the image's original height becomes greater than 376px
soloution that will enable me to set a divs min-height to 350px then when the window is resized it will increase over that 350 this supose to allow people with larger resoloutions to see more of the content.
how is it possible to do a loading progress bar,the msot simple way, i read taht you can make this in a very simple way using the image class(with the image array) or also using the image array so all your pics would load when the site starts but i think the first solution is easier(loading bar), i have a very simple site that uses html and css and if any of you knew about this simple java script loading bar?
I have an ASP page on my intranet that searches a large database. After you click search it takes a while for the results to display so you just get a blank page and it looks like nothing is happening.
What I want to do is, using javascript, display something that makes it obvious that it is actually doing something. This could be either a progress bar or an animated image that dispappears once the page is loaded.
Does anyone know where I can find a script that will do this?
