JQuery :: Implemented The ScrollTo And PrettyPhoto Plugin - Internet Explorer - Not Working

I'm sure this is a very trivial and probably simple thing to fix, but unfortunately I've run into a massive wall with it!
(Vague disclaimer - i'm new to Javascript and jquery, but learning slowly.)
I've implemented the scrollTo and prettyPhoto plugin on my websites, both work brilliantly on everything but Internet Explorer: [url]
I've used the following code to initialize the jquery:
I've followed instructions for both plugins pretty well down to the T, so i can't see where i've gone wrong here.

im trying to run .scrollto to jump from one div to the next with a smooth animation in a horizontal website. this is what the head tag looks like so far

i tried removing either local scroll or scrollTo and see if there was a conflict but that wasnt the case.
ive seen the script run on a webpage without having to add $.localScroll();to every link, right now it just doesn't move at all.

I manipulate XML with jQuery with no problem in all browseres but not in Internet Explorer. I serched bug-fix and I found "metadata.js" but still not working in my Internet Explorer 7.It's just too nice to manipulate XML with jQuery...As a matter of fact... a simple example of extracting some data:Script page:

I am entering the so far very exciting world of javascript. However, I am perplexed at the following. I am setting a function to run every second with 'setInterval("runMonitor()", 1000)'. This works magically in Firefox, however works exactly one time in IE6 and then stops.

I was wondering why my code is perfectly working in Firefox, but does not work in Internet Explorer at all:

Here's another cross-over issue between the two browsers: IE and Firefox Please, take the time to view my test website: www seemyinvestments dot com I suggest you use Firefox first, Note the first page will be the index.php for the very website itself. Please, scroll down the source code file until you see the following line: $mainframe =& JFactory::getApplication('site');
Note the word, JFactory, is underlined, and the word, getApplication, is in green. Clicking on either word will successfully invoke a AJAX function in Firefox. For example, a popup window will appear in the upper-righthand corner of the browser if you click on the green word, getApplication. (The popup has test data in it so it doesn't make any sense right now.) Clicking on the word, JFactory, will display that source code file using AJAX....quick and clean.
With Internet Explorer, this is all suddenly broken! I swear it worked as good as in Firefox, and now suddenly nothing happens. With IE, two runtime errors occur. One Syntax Error, Line 214, and the other is a 'Expected Identifer' error, Line 4114. How the heck can I track down these errors? (What's out there an IE equalvent to FireFox's Error Console??)

I have recently just built a simple website and have started to add some added editions one being the lightbox.
i am using dreamweaver cs3 and on a mac laptop, so in safari it works brillaint no problems what so ever.
but as soon as you load it in internet explorer the light box opens but it displays a 404 error on the first image of every gallery, on every different profile?[code]...

It works in Google Chrome but not Firefox and Internet Explorer. My computer has blocked Opera and I don't know how to change that. Too much energy to investigate now, I'll do so later.I'm assuming GoogleChrome is fixing a syntax error that FF and IE don't.

the cause is due to creating new element while the page is loading.

So this works just fine in FF. In IE7 I am getting this error. I can see my content load in the background, when I hit ok it takes me to a page cannot be displayed page. If I comment out:

It doesnt present that error, but that is obviously not an option. Here is my code:

I have a site that I am developing where I use the prettyPhoto plugin to display larger size versions of photos. I have everything configured as per the directions on the plugin page here: [URL] I am experiencing a weird issue however. When I mouseover my anchor image, the mouseover is only on the top and bottom half of my image. The whole middle section of my anchor image is getting no mouseover effect. Meaning my cursor only changes to a pointer on the top & bottom parts of the image. It changes back to a regular cursor when directly in the middle of the image. The anchor image (the image I'm using to link to the larger version) is sized 333px wide by 500px tall and I am linking to jQuery version 1.5 as hosted on the Google api server.
prettyPhoto is working perfectly except for this mouseover issue. I do have a caption telling the user to click the picture to see the larger version, however if they mouseover directly in the center and don't see the mouseover effect they may think something is wrong. Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong and how I could fix the issue?

i have a site that uses a lightbox based image viewer and the jeditable plugin. basically my site has a photo gallery and below each gallery i have the option to set a caption to the photo.
i have done the caption using jeditable and i've also tried using the ajaxForm plugin for jquery to see if jeditable caused the problem. but whichever method i use, approximately 20% of the time a photo caption is submitted, if you then click on the photo to view full size using lightbox (so far i've used fancyBox, prettyPhoto and Lightbox itself, and all break in the same way) it gets stuck at "loading", whereby the overlay appears, the inital empty box and animated gif appear, but then it just spins forever and never loads the image, as if it cant access the URL. weirder still, the FIRST time i do a page refresh to try and fix the problem, it doesnt work (something in the cache i expect), but if i do a second refresh or a shift + refresh, it resets and works again. it's very difficult to eliminate all variables because the problem is so sporadic, but it seems that the most likely way of breaking lightbox is to do the following:

I'm using the following script to successfully scroll links, however, I am having trouble getting the page to focus on the hash target. Instead, the page focus stays with the link that initiates the function rather than the intended target:

I have problems setting an offset of the LocalScroll-plugin (and the ScrollTo)[URL]If you click on one of the links (main-section), you'll see the divs are not lining up right. I guess it's about scroll to goes to div+padding+margin. Right? So, I'll have to adjust an offset.

Does anyone know of a way to prevent tabbing (via keyboard tab key) between form fields in ifferent "slides" when using the jquery scrollTo plugin? For example, I have a UL with 2 LI's in it and each LI has a <form> inside of it. If a user is on slide 1 and hits tab on the last visible form field, the first form field on the next slide comes into view (because the browser gives it focus), thus moving slide 2 partially into view. The same kind of thing happens from slide 2 to slide 1 when shift-tabbing (tabbing backwards): a form field on slide 1 gets focused and comes into view. I'd like to prevent tabbing between the forms. To complicate matters a bit more (possibly), one of my forms has a jquery UI tab control on it, so the last visible form field could be any field on any of the tab control's tabs (ie: the "last" visible form field depends on what tab is showing.
