JQuery :: Disable The Whole Ifixpng Portion ?

Im using JQuery with a html framework (YAML) and a content management system (SPIP) and am wondering, since both also come with inbuild IE fixes, especially for the png transparency, is it possible to disable the whole ifixpng portion in JQuery. Apart from it being kinda overkill to use 3 fixes, they dont mix and ifixpng seems to be the one giving me the hardest time (even tho it says it would disable previous fixes already applied, well, or maybe because of that). So can i disable it?

I'm trying to learn jQuery and am currently attempting to clone a div and then find and replace part of a string. The cloning part works, but I can't seem to get it to alter the text... In the html below, I'm trying to find all instances of issue-0, issue_0, or issue[0] (whether it's a name or an ID) and replace it with issue-1, issue_1, or issue[1] (depending on the character found after "issue")

I actually have a JSP page with this basic HTML elements;

Strangely is... the loading Bar FadeIn effect come nicely. But when at line 73; when It reached success call, it never fading out.

Is this line not working when it came into success portion or.... there's something wrong with my source code? I confused ....

I have a web page that has a few text boxes, and a dual list control. All of these data elements are for a particular entity. The form is for creating a new instance of this entity and saving it to the database. The dual list shows available people to use, and the user can move options from the available list to the selected list. All of this works perfectly when posted. There is a button at the bottom of the page to post the form.
To make things easy, I also want to include a hidden "form" that lets the user add a new person to the dual list without leaving the page. They click an "Add New" link which shows a previously hidden div. In the div are two text boxes: "emailName" and "emailAddress", and a button to click called "Add".
When the user clicks the "Add" button I need to validate the emailName and emailAddress fields, and only those two fields. If they are valid then I will make my AJAX request and handle the return data by adding a new option to the dual list.

im working on a web application that generates dynamic data. My question is: i want users to be able to save the generated data, but not the whole web page, just a table in the web page that holds this data. I searched and found out that showing a "save as" dialog box is possible with javascript, with a method like: onclick="javascript: document.execCommand('SaveAs',Ƈ',null);. However, i coulnd't find out how to change the document object (or is it possible?) or a trick to print just the table of dynamic data.
I tried to cover the table with <div id="myData"></div> and use onclick="javascript: myData.execCommand('SaveAs',Ƈ',null); but as you might guess, it didn't work and gave this error message: "object doent support this property or method". Indeed i dont have any idea what div tag can and can't do, so it was just a meaningless try. By the way, i want to add that i can't use iframes just because of program design issues.
Anyway, do you have any suggestions?

I am using a dropdown box with 6 options. On change I want ajax to return part of an HTML/PHP page that corresponds to one of the 6 questions. I was trying to put and if statement on the return page to determine the part that I wanted but I didnt work. I rather not create 6 HTML/PHP files for each of the options. Here is part of the CODE

I have an iframe on a page, i am using a javascript to resize the iframe so that there isnt a scroll bar. However, when I print the page, depending on the browser, different things happen. So far, Google Chrome is the only one that pulls it off... FireFox cuts the page off and doesnt print the last 3 paragraphs and Internet Exploder shrinks a portion of the text onto the right hand side of an A4 page and ignores the last few paragraphs...

I'm moving from fully Flash sites to AJAX withjQuery etc. I see that handling the situation where the user has javascript disabled is given a lot of emphasis in books and tutorials on jQuery. Is it really that important? After all, if you've disabled javascript shouldn't you accept a limited result? Accessibility seems a valid reason, but how many screen readers can't handle javascript? Mobile and other devices that can't handle it are only a concern if your site is one that's likely to be of interest to a small set of users so do you need to worry about them?

I have a chunk of jquery that is working in all browsers except IE.
I know it's possible to target a piece of code AT a specific browser but is there any way to EXCLUDE it from a certain browser?
I'd be happy for IE to just not see this chunk of code...?

I'm looking for a way to disable an entire form until someone checks a check box. I would like it if the form is visible but has a "grayed out" look, and cannot be submitted.
So by default the form elements are all disabled. Once the checkbox is clicked the elements are enabled.

Once a button is clicked i would like to disable it for x seconds. The button adds a div to the page and testing has shown excessive clicking can cause issues and halt the script, which is why i want to disable it.

I'm using Jquery to power my horizontal scrolling portfolio site.[URL] I have a problem that on a smaller browser window elements becomeverticalscroll-ableand id rather it force you tore-sizerather then break the design. Using the basic CSS Overflow:Hiddenisn'tan option because it then sticks the horizontal scrollbar wherever the end of your page loads at, making anuglybar across the middle of largerresolutionscreens. I used a mootools approach thatremovesonly one of the scrollbars, but mootoolsdoesn'tplay nice with jquery in this fix.
Has anyone tried to attempt this? or am I just banging my head against a problem andover complicatingthis? I could always just make the page elements smaller, but liking my big photo presentation.
Oh and I dont mind about compatibility with IE6, im in the graphic design business, all the people im showing this too have a more modern browser or use the 64-bit IE.

I was trying to but failed to do. I have two radio of gender and two input box father name and husband name if sex selected male then fathers name will be enabled and husband name will be disabled and if female selected then fathers name will be disabled and husband name will be enabled.
