I've been having problems trying to figure this out and my nooby skills can only go so far... :)Basically I have a page that allows a user to select a specific category which links them to another page that has a series of radio buttons. By default I want to have that category checked according to what they selected.I've been able to pass the category variable with no problem but can't get it to default check...So far my Javascript looks like this:

When radio button "Owner_Regular_driver_the_same" = "yes" (select by default) then "Regular_driver_name" and "Regular_driver_ID_nr" must be disabled as per code in the script but after the page have been load the "Regular_driver_name" and "Regular_driver_ID_nr" is not disabled.
When click on "yes" radio button "Owner_Regular_driver_the_same" which is selected by default then the "Regular_driver_name" and "Regular_driver_ID_nr" fields are diabled.

I have a form with 4 radio buttons, the scenario is, when a user click on a radio button a hidden content will be displayed and the other three radio buttons will be disabled so that at one time a user can only click and view single radio button and the hidden content.Here is my code to show hide the hidden content but i need when the user select one radio button the other radio buttons should disable.

Ran into an issue today I wasn't able to sort out on my own or through a Google search:I have this form where I wanted to select a radio button when the containing div was clicked. So, on the click of the div, I would say that the radio's attribute of checked was set to checked.It all worked fine until I put on the document.ready to hide all the radios.Thus, with a hidden radio input, I was unable to manipulate the checked attribute. Did I miss something? Example code for reference:

I am finally taking the plunge and get into learning this stuff, but have come accross my first problem.I have a Yes / No radio button group which controls other elements in the site. How do you programatically invoke a radio button? What I am trying to do is after a user presses a radiobutton, it checks to see if another independent checkbutton is pressed. If it is, it disables it and then programatically calls the users first button press.

i.e. radio choice 1 - user can only select four days in advance. radio choice 2 - user can only selecttwo days in advance. radiochoice 3 - user can only selectone day in advance.

I am a PHP programmer and new to Javascript and jQuery and I have tried about 20 examples/tutorials and cannot seem to get even close to what I want.I have a form (PHP/MySQL) with a list of subjects I got from my database, and then create a set of radio buttons from that list. And based on what radio button they select, I need to pass that variable to a div (at least that's what I want to use) and then show a list of videos that match the radio buttons value. I don't care if its a get or post or other.I tried to use GET or POST so I can use that value for my PHP/MySQL lists.I am open to any suggestions/tutorials, etc.

I have a form that shows some images with a radio button associated with each one. I would like to give them the option to click on the image to select the radio, but not sure the easiest way to pull it off.
I was assuming I add a OnClick to each image and use getelementbyid to check the button, but since all the radiobuttons have the same id (so they can only choose one) I am not sure how to make the correct radiobutton become checked.

Essentially, whenever a user either clicks in the text input or starts typing in the input, I would like the radio button to be selected. As of now, if you open the page and click on the text field, the default 'checked' radio button still is checked.
