How To Get Vertical Image Scroller (Non Flash)

This site has example of exactly what I need.

uses one on the right side that is built with flash but I need one for a non flash site (so anti flash on this one).... CSS, JS, Jquery or whatever works etc... is what I'm looking for not flash. It would be cool to have mouse events such as move up or down images and click-able links too. But the deal breaker for sure is I need click-able links and auto scroll. It's got to be vertical I searched everywhere no luck.

What I'd like to do is use some sort of jquery plugin to make an image scroller that has a grid of images and scrolls each row and column horizontally and vertically. I'm a bit overwhelmed though and not sure where to start. I want to use fancybox for opening the image so I was hoping someone could point me towards something that would help with the thumbnail scroller?

I know nothing of js yet, I'm still studying CSS & PHP. So I'm just looking for a ready made script for vertical scrolling. I found one that does exactly that, but all the css styling is done in the javascipt, so I was completely lost. I want to be able to just enter the html (into the js array if neccessary, I can do that much lol) and have it scroll upwards, simple as that. The nearest thing I could find to what I want is this Creating a vertical content scroller using DHTML I can style my div & images myself, then all I need to do is enter the html and away it goes, but it functions just like the marquee tag in that it waits for the entire content to clear before it starts scrolling again.

I can't seem to find what I need but I know it exists. I trying to find a vertical scroller that will automatically have the text scroll upwards but have an arrow above and arrow below to be able to control the direction of the scrolling text, or a script with no arrows but still allow me to take control by mousing over the text to scroll up or down.

I am after a simple div scroller that scrolls text up/down within a fix sized div, with two scroll buttons that can be set to hover/click, I have found a load that use it for <li> tags or images and scrolls only up by set amount, but I would like this for text etc.

I am trying to introduce a vertical scroller to my site, I got the code from a tutorial and slightly tweaked the html to meet my needs but now the content doesn't scroll. None of this code has been altered!

I am currently working on creating a vertical scroller and have got so far but have got stuck on some of the functionality.
My HTML looks like this

Currently the scroller moves up and down when you hover over the top and bottom buttons however you have to keep moving in and out of the hover area in order to get the scroller to move. How can you make it so that it will do a continuous scroll of the scroll-content div. Also currently the script has no way to limit the end of the scroll-content div and I cant seem to get it to stop once it gets to the bottom of this div.

I'm trying to put some code together to create an image-swapping system, that when you click on the image it'll hide the image and replace it with a given iframe vimeo/youtube code...The swapping part works fine, however when the iframe loads up, it hides all other flash objects in the page, and I can't figure out why.Here's the JS

i want to add a couple of images to the slider. Here is my website for you view. For some unknown reason it will not let me add any images. I thought perhaps it would allow me to only add a specific number of images so tried to change an image instead and the same....just nothing works.

I am working on building a website and have been looking for a jquery plugin with no luck. I am wanting something that doesn't show anything but the image. And then after X number of seconds, the image slides UP and the next image slides up from the bottom of the frame.
This is an example of the kind of plugin I'm after.[URL]
That one shows just the image and you can control speed, but it fades in/out. I just want it to slide up!

I have to develop a vertical image scrollbar where 5-6 images will be displayed at a time and up-down movement will be controlled by arrows. I searched alot over net but didnt found exact result. either images were scrolling automatically or they were controlled by the position of mouse-cursor. Also I found script where single image comes on screen at a time (slideshow kind)which was controlled by up-down arrow.

I'm working on a project that requires a vertical image gallery, that can be scrollable using the mouse scroll. It should work in the same way as this website's gallery : [URL]. I looked at their code, but I'm very new at jQuery and javascript, and couldn't figure it out, many elements missing. How to make it work, or maybe there's an existing plugin I could use?

I am looking for a image gallery that will work where some photos are positioned horizontally and some are vertical. I hope it is possible. The photos are for an artist that I am working with. I hope someone will have an answer. It doesn't have to be fancy. Even a simple magnifyer would be fine. I guessed that javascript might be the most appropriate form.

Description: I have created flash cards using html layers, jpegs, and
javascript. The way I designed it is, I have words and their
descriptions (meaning) as jpeg files. Each word and it's meaning are
on separate layers. I can go to the previous card, the next card, or
see the answer( Meaning). (This is my navigation.) Each link (previous
etc..)is a hot spot on every image. When I click on any hotspot I pass
the image name and layername, to show a particular image on a
particular layer.
Problem: What I want to do is:
1.) I want to put another hot spot or link on the site e.g.shuffle,
that would randomize the order of images and the associated layer.
2.) I would like to put the counter somewhere on the page which would
display the card number and total number of cards in the series e.g. 1
of 10.
Do you think these changes are possible with the way I created my
flash cards? If so, could anyone help me? If not, is there a better
way to create flash cards using javascript? Is there any tutorial that
would help me?

I am trying to create a flash by changing 2 images(both images are the same apart from one is in daylight and one in the night), i am unsure of how to do this even though i have researched the topic.
