May 11, 2011I am trying to delete some cookies in a custom logout script.
For this i have to delete cookies of different domains. How do i delete a cookie by specifying name and domain name.

My problem is small, but all the solutions I have tried dont seem to work.
I've googled the life out of it and got a lot of different scripts which are supposed to set the expiry date in the past and the cookie disappears.....

How To Prevent Refresh After Logout?
Jul 9, 2006Let me give a brief first. When someone logs in my application with
correct username and password, I set a session attribute, say "user"
with his username.
When he logs out, I invalidate the session and remove the attribute
"user". In each of the protected pages, I check for the session
attribute "user". If it exists, I proceed, else I rdirect to login
page. Btw, I am also using frames when the user logs in.
Everything is working as I want it to. Except one thing! After the user
logs out and then goes back using "back" button of the browser, the
page displayed says that he has been logged out and needs to login
again. But if he refreshes the page (after going "Back"), the page
reloads with correct information, as if he is already logged in.
What do I do to prevent this?
I am fairly new to JSP. So, maybe I am missing out on something....

My state has a web site that can be used for online filing for
unemployment benefits. Every week I have to go to the site and fill in
a form, checking off the same boxes each time. I'd like to automate
this.
I need to load the URL for the login page into the browser, fill in my
username and password, and submit the form. From that page I need to
follow a link to file for benefits. There I need to fill in the form by
checking a few boxes and submit the form. This brings up another form
where I have to confirm the entries. Then finally I can select the
Logout link.
How would I go about automating that with Javascript? I don't need
someone to write the whole thing, just provide the basic processes. I
had a similar question a few weeks ago, when I was trying to create a
bookmarklet to open my web banking page and prefill the account number,
but I was never able to solve it (I'm making do with two bookmarks -- a
regular one to open the page, and a bookmarklet to fill in the account#
field once the page is loaded). This makes me think that my plan for
the unemployment page won't work either, but there's no harm in asking.

Feb 5, 2008Alright, I have a problem killing a cookie. I'm able to succesfully create a cookie with php (or rather several cookies). If it matters, heres the code:

I need to delete them (that is, the cookies) with javascript. Interestingly, when I run the same files without the "/testzone/" in my main directory, everything is fine and dandy. After clicking an add rows button, the two rows are cloned and appended as follows with a checkbox added as shown.

I want to be able to delete rows 3&4 by selecting the checkbox in row 3 and clicking a delete rows button. Regardless of how many sets of rows have been previously added, any set of rows can be deleted by selecting the appropriate checkbox(es) and clicking delete button. I'm trying to figure out how this can be done. My thinking is if checkbox is checked, calculate row index. I would then have to call deleteRow twice on that row index. Is there a better way of doing this?
LOGIN Button Is Clicked - LOGOUT Gets Enabled And LOGIN Gets Disabled

When I click on login button, the logout button should get enabled and the login button should get disabled. And after that, when i click on logout, the login button should get enabled and the logout button should get disable.

Dec 16, 2007im trying to just delete the last letter on the right side of a textbox. I am trying to do this via onclick for a backspace button. Does anything have code for this or know what i can search for because i come up with nothing everything i try.

Creating And Deleting Function?

Deleting Specific Values From Textfield...
Jul 23, 2005I have a form that has several disabled text fields. In these text
fields, I have initial values. Next to each text field lies a "copy"
button. When clicked, the content of the disabled text field is
appended to the content of another textfield, the only one that isn't
disabled (therefore the user can copy content from the other text
fields, and also add what they want). I also have a remove button,
which clears the content of that one non-disabled text field.
Pretty easy so far.
Here's the problem. Imagine I copy the content from textfield 1 into
the blank text field, then do the same for textfield 2 and 3.
Between each "insert", I've added a comma. So the non-disabled
(active) text field would have the following content:
content1, content2, content3,
Now say that the user wants to remove content2, without removing the
rest, how could I go about doing this?
