We have a little callendar on our website. I have set the format of the date to "dd-mm-y" because I want the date to be saved europian, not american. When comfirming the form, the date is saved as 0000-00-00. The date shows correctly on the form itself. I have two scripts: Calendar.js and Calendar-en-GB.js. I am assuming I will have two textareas in a form, the data are copied from a clipboard to one of them and split into an array on newline characters. On the last few lines the letters A-G or a-g may or may not be preceded by _, =, or ^ and may or may not be followed by a comma or apostrophe then a (or not) number. The lack of a space after a letter indicates a grouping (beaming).
Does anyone have an example of some parsing code? Just something that looks at the input byte by byte building a token, putting a character back if it belongs to the next token and handling the end of the line and end of data. If someone has a parser for anything, I think I could adapt it.
Does JavaScript have an easy of converting an ordinary integer like 135 into a time format like 02:15? I'm working on a timer that handles the backend with just a plain integer that counts down every second but it needs to output looking like a clock.

I have pulled a date from our database in the form of mm/dd/yyyy, and would like to convert this to a Date object type. To do this, I have parsed the string to switch it to the following format yyyy,mm,dd. I have already created a new Date variable using the following: Date reqDate = new Date(2010,10,14) and had no issues. However, if I do the following: Date reqConvert = new Date (reqDate3) where reqdate3 = 2010,11,15

I have an asp page that uses a calendar.js (pop-up) file to add an
exact date format in the text field (txtDDate). My problem is I need
some javascript that sets an alert that does not allow them to select
today.
example:

But dtToday is blank....How can I get dtToday value? Also, when I set

It is supposed to display the date that a shipment should arrive on with 2 day shipping through ups so it skips weekends. It displays the date after either adding 2 days or more depending on the day of the week. But the way the date is formatted really needs to be changed.
