Jul 20, 2010When I want to handle html/css code in js/jquery it seems that line breaks aren't allowed. This of course makes the code less readable. Is there a workaround to this or is it simply to accept?This doesn't work:

I'm using the expression in the replace function like this:

The line of code I am changing is like this:
<div><span>·<span> </span></span>Illness - where a pupil is too ill to leave the house</div>
E.g. it should strip out the code and leave <li>Illness - where a pupil is too ill to leave the house</li>. It works fine here [URL] but when used with the replace command it does not? (I'm trying to convert bullet points from word).

Code Works In Firefox But Not IE 7
Jul 3, 2009I have created a very simple JavaScript code to display larger images of a thumbnail image on the main section of a website. It works fine in FF3 however in IE 7 is giving me an error code of Invalid argument on line 6 character 1. The funny thing is I have used this exact code in another site and it worked fine with IE 7.
