I have this website here [URL] If I use PC, I can drag and change volume on top left just fine. But if I use Mac OSX, either Safari or Firefox, I cannot drag the volume in the Flash, although I can see the mouse turn into pointer.

View 4 Replies View RelatedOK, so I've written a small timer at [URL].. for general purpose timing. My first is that I cannot find a way to accurately time with the format 00:00.00, as the milliseconds seem to run too slowly.
My second is that when the font size is set to a large size (for example, 200px or 300px) the timer runs even more slowly (just over half the speed it should). Is there any way to optimise the timer so it runs at a more accurate speed, or is this just a problem with my browser parsing the Javascript in time?

Iīve just launch my website-portfolio, well itīs not yet the final version but it is almost and despite I am satisfied with the final result Iīve detected a really strange bug that only happens sometimes. The thing is when the first introduction Slide appears (the one with the hand-made drawings), sometimes the images shrink from the normal size to small tiny images. This doesnīt happen always and if you refresh the page it disappears.

the class small sets the height to 150px. what i want now is to change the image height onclick to 400px. If the image is clicked again, it should be resized back to 150px height. i greated a style called .big with 400px and thought i can toggle the style between big an small. But unfortunately nothing happens it seems the image selector is ignored. maybe somone can help me addressing the images onclick. [URL]
I'd like to implement something like what's found on [url] game description pages (when you click on a screenshot's thumbnail you zoom to the full-size screenshot). I'm currently in the process of stripping down their code to the bare minimum so I could try to understand how this can be done and then make my own. But this could potentially take a lot more time than needed. Are there any tutorials that I could read on this, instead?

You know when you click the file option in your browser's toolbar, and a drop down menu appears? It can be just like that, but instead of save as and open, links will be there to places within our intranet opened in a new window. This has to work for IEX 7+ because that's all our company decides to use. I tried to submit a chang erequest for them to move to a better CSS/Javascript supportive browser such as Opera, Firefox, Google Chrome... but they're way too fixed on IEX for some odd reason.*edit* colors dont matter. It can be the default colors used in a basic drop down menu. I figure javascript would have more options though.

I'm attempting to make a web page that adapts to the size of your browser size when it maximized. Because I'm only 15 I'm not such a great programmer or coder. I've done my best with the resources I have though (Fluent in Lua and a natural ability to pick languages syntax up quickly)

View 3 Replies View RelatedI developed a web application and it is working fine, except for one issue. The application includes uploading files from a JSP to my servlet, and the issue is that i would like to have a limit for the uploaded files on the client side (before actually uploading it).
I investigated alot and found some ways like changing my JSPs to PHPs, which is not feasable for my application. I would also like to add that using the Flash component ("<object>") for uploading is not feasable also at this time. Using ActiveX does not work also (for some security issues in javascript, it can not access the system information, also ActiveX works only on IE).
I would like to add that I have my application running on Oracle application Server, JSPs for displaying the forms, MultiPart Java API for getting the form input values and files to my servlet and everything is developed in JAVA.
Either by limiting the file size or the limiting the whole request size sent to the servlet.

I'd have thought this would be easy but I've been looking for hours and all I can find is info on getting the viewport size, which is normally useful but not in my situation.
In this case I need the actual browser size, including the scrollbars, toolbars, status bars etc. to get an idea of browsers which aren't maximised/full screen and how big they are, and to calculate the amount of the screen taken up by toolbars etc too.
I wanted a small calendar for a web page that is created for the current month and highlights the current day and a date passed in. I also added a variable to show text when the cursor is over the highlighted dates. It's nothing special, but I like it and thought I'd share it. Here is the code and it is attached for downloading as well.

Can someone tell me why the image isn't zoomed all the way to its max when clicked on? You have to click on the zoomed image to get it to its max dimensions. Why does it do this and how do I fix it so it will max out in a separate window when you click on the thumb? Code:

What I need is a small little area with a different background color and perhaps a border to open next to a word when the symbol next to it is clicked on. This word or phrase would be in a sentence that would require some further explanation or definition.
I guess this would be similar to how someone like iStock Photo does with their thumbnails only it will require a click as opposed to a rollover and it will not be an image, just some text.
