However, I am confused as to how I can highlight the current day of the month, so that any one looking at the calendar knows what the date is. I would like to make the current day background color red and the text white.
So i have some code that will show a pop up calendar for a date field in my web form. After the date is selected from the calendar it displays in the input box in the form mm-dd-yyyy. I need it to be in the form yyyy-mm-dd, i've looked through the code and tried to figure it out but havent had any luck yet.

In the menu in this page I have four different methods (you can see them in the <script> tag on the pages) of indicating the current page in a menu. I downloaded these from various web pages after Googling "jQuery highlight current page".None of the methods works. Is there something wrong with my selectors? Can anyone see why none of them are working?
I have 2 monitors from a different size. It is important in my application that I get the screen size of the monitor where the webbrowser is located. When I try to get the screen size (window.screen.height + window.screen.width) only IE gives me always the screen size of the main monitor where my taskbar (windows7) is located, instead of the screen size of the secondary screen where the webbrowser is located.
I'm doing this site for my c=school and needs this event calendar. Ive traipsed through this far but stuck with the event showing up. The problem is it will double print the dates that have events. One from the for loop which shows events and other from the normal if function. Following are my files.
I want to display the alert when user enters the time less than the system time and date should be current date and if the date is greater than current date it should ignore the alert box. Here is the code
<script type="text/javascript"> function check() { var now = new Date(), timeParts = document.contact_form.time.value.split(':'),
Say I put a date and time for like this: Jun-15-04 21:52:06. Here is the form I am using:
<form> <p><input type="text" name="T1" size="20"><br> date</p> <p><input type="text" name="T2" size="20"><br> 90 days from date</p> <p><input type="submit" value="Submit" name="B1"></p> </form>
How could I get to show the date 90 days later to the exact date and time. I would enter the data in the first box and hit submit to show in the second box.
I'd like to insert a date on a webpage in the following format: Monday, May 10, 2010 However, I want to be able to set the date 6 days before the current date. So, if today's date is Monday, May 10, 2010, I want it to instead display the following: Tuesday, May 4, 2010
I am trying to use this pop up javascript calendar and it works fine but as i am in the United Kingdom our date format is different. At the moment it displays mm/dd/yyyy but i would like it to display dd mm yyyy.
Can you help me change it slightly. I have looked but cannot seam to change. As you would have guessed i am new to Javascript. Below is the code - sorry but it is really long

I am using JQuery V. 1.3.1. If a date field is on the top of the page, the calendar shows up correctly right near the date field. But if the date field is set to the bottom of the page, the calendar appears somewhere in the middle of the page, which I have to scroll the page up to see the calendar.
It works great and does exactly what I need. I'm using it in flat mode so that it can be displayed statically on the page. What I can't seem to work out is how to retrieve the selected date once clicked on. I need to be able to print the output in dd/mm/yyyy format, either on screen or in an alert or something similar.
If anyone has worked with this calendar and knows how to do it, or can sort it, I'd appreciate it greatly. I can't paste code here as it's too long, but the source code on the site linked above is exactly the same as I'm using.

I have been working on this picker calendar all day and I am completely stumped. The calendar will show. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "[URL]"> <html xmlns="[URL]"> <head> <title>Central Valley Snowboarding</title> <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" /> <link rel="stylesheet" href="js_styles.css" type="text/css" /> .....
I need to make a calendar which hilight the days date green. e.g. today 25/07/10 will be hilighted green. This is probably really easy but I am really new to JavaScript Here is the code.
I just implemented a nice little calendar popup script that I found on javascriptkit.com.It works fine in IE7, Firefox 3 and Safari 4.Here's a link to the script:I recently installed IE8 myself, and apparently this script doesn't do well in IE8.Perhaps somebody out there knows why that is, and have a solution to my problem?
I'm trying to modify a script from the 'Dynamic Drive' site that displays a calendar. I modified it so that when you click on a day, it posts that mm/dd/yyyy format to the adjacent textarea. Problem is, when I do it again, it appends to the textarea rather than move down to a new line. I have tried various combinations of in the write to the textarea and the commented-out alert show the correct format. What do I need to do to start the next date on a new line in the text area?
